There is a not well known myth that long ago before the written word life was very different for humans. They left evidence of this life in artifacts of carvings and drawing on caves. These reflected a time when there was a partnership between males and females. It was a time when the left and right brains in humans were integrated. From their wholeness men and women cooperated with each other creating a civilization of peace and harmony. From this foundation they were connected to the creative source of life and allowed this sacred energy to flow through them. They supported each other in their creative expression. Arts flourished. Scientific discoveries and application of those discoveries manifested technology still unknown to this present day.
One day a large meteor struck the earth with such a blow that it was felt around the world. The energy from the impact caused the earth to open up in places and swallow the advances that had been made. Technology was destroyed. The people who survived hid in caves in the darkness in shock and fear of what had happened.
As their fear filled distorted thinking grew they vowed that they would find a way to control nature. From this fear based place they forgot about their right brain thinking and focused on left brain thinking. This became connected with maleness. From this place they came to deny and discount the right brain thinking of creation and connected with femaleness. Confused and in denial of their creative energies they declared that the reason for this happening was because they had not seen this coming. The men blamed the women and the women blamed the men. The men, being physically dominate proclaimed that everyone would focus on creating technology to control the elements so this would never happen again. Anyone not helping with this would be sent into exile. This happened to many men and women. They wandered all over the earth settling in different places. Many drew in caves the wonders of life before the meteor.
But to this day humans have not been able to create what they had because without the wisdom of right brain thinking what is created leaves out the heart and soul of humanity. Without right brain thinking relationships are seen as a means to an end not as what is most important. Without this understanding of relationships the left brain thinking can make anything seem ‘reasonable’ and will engage in behavior that will create its own self-destruction. Without understanding relationship one is dis-connected from a higher power, self and others. Without understanding relationship it is always easy to find an enemy to control fight or eliminate. Without understanding relationships we have been hurdling toward annihilation of our species and our planet. Our only hope to balance this self destruction is for men and women to wake up to the power of relationship stored in the right brain wisdom of our bodies and emotions.
We are now at a cross roads. The fate of our humanity and an earth for our children, grand children and great grand children lies within the consequences of what we choose today. Will we continue to react from an unconscious fear based place? Will we choose to challenge our fear-based reactive thinking and return to love? I choose to not only return to love but to live from love. Not the love of my human experience. I choose to live from my soul’s love connecting with Spirit to live the life I came here to express as Life invites me to heal.
