Isn’t it amazing that we share with all living organisms, including plants, the fact that we have an inner nature (our “bliss compass”) that is ALWAYS seeking the right environmental stimuli to blossom into our utmost potential? For example, the warmth and humidity of tropical South American jungles support over 82,000 orchid species, each with its own requirements: the right soil, temperature, nutrients etc. These plants wouldn’t blossom anywhere else in the world but here. The more exotic the plant, the more unusual the microclimate, and the truth is that we as humans are very similar. Every gardener will recognize that when a plant doesn’t flourish, it’s usually due to a deficiency in its environment. For example, too little or too much water, or the soil is polluted. When we look at ourselves from the perspective of a gardener, we can ask ourselves if we give ourselves too little or too much stimuli like: emotional, social, intellectual, physical, and spiritual nourishment. While plants know how to grow, we need guidance to optimize our biggest potential. Here are three questions to help you: * If you could be a flower, what flower would you represent? Be surprised and watch how symbolic your answer is. * What weeds (beliefs that hold you back) are blocking your growth? * What nourishment do you need to blossom into your potential? Just know that it’s your innate nature (your bliss compass) that keeps seeking to grow, like a flower that wants to open its bud. As long as you nourish your potential, you can’t detour your bliss compass! Keep going, and keep growing towards the light!

I have a new cell phone. I didn’t want a new cell phone; I was perfectly happy with my 2020 cell phone, but it wasn’t happy with me. Its connector charging port was ailing. Failing, actually, the service tech told me. And besides, it was an old phone, what did I expect? Old? This to a woman who is more than content, read “thrilled,” to wear outdated fashions just because she likes them. And would willingly keep computers way past their supposed “shelf life.” Sigh. OK, fine,
