Have you ever asked yourself this question? If you have, then you immediately increased your odds towards failure. When we first set out to accomplish anything in our life, regardless of its particular endeavor, our thought processes begin the creation of our results at that moment.
Be careful what you wish for, right? This information is not new to us, in fact its introduction to society began over 100 years ago with the likes of Sigmund Freud, Alfred Adler, and Carl Gustav Jung and their ideas of autosuggestion in how it relates to health and human advancement. Over the years, society had turned a blind eye to these concepts, but over the past 20 years it has gained momentum and become a scientifically proven entity. It is now a fact that people with stronger personal development skills are healthier and more successful.
There is more to this than having a positive attitude and reaping success. We often look at these people who take great pride in their personal development skills and spiritual accolades as sort of strange. The multi-billion dollar industry of personal development, and yes I said billion, has established itself all across the globe and here to stay. Before long, if you are not either meditating, exercising on a consistent basis or reciting personal goal oriented annotations each morning to yourself, then you will be the one who looks a bit strange.
For those of you who haven’t read Napolean Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich”, I want to share with you the basic premise of his book. Mr. Hill was commissioned by, at the time the richest man in the world, Andrew Carnegie to write a book on the philosophies of all the most successful people he could find over a twenty year period. Mr. Carnegie wanted to share his wealth of knowledge with the world, and wanted Mr. Hill to capture this for all who wanted to expand their knowledge and learn the basic principles behind true success. Through all of Mr. Hill’s research over 20 years of interviewing the elite of the elite, one basic principle stood out above all else. It is often referred to as the Carnegie Secret.
We have one thing that we have absolute control of, and that is our thoughts. It reflects our divine nature as humans. The ability in which people are able to exercise, control, and direct their thoughts towards the attainment of definitive objectives is what separates the successful and unsuccessful. The ability to control our thoughts is the sole means by which we can create our own destiny.
I am compelled to do my part in spreading the simplicity behind these tools we all possess to all that are willing to listen and learn. It is not a secret anymore. We all can have success in our life if we choose to. You can start by surrounding yourself around anything that revolves around personal and prosperity development. There is not a course you can take but you can trust those before us who have told us that our answers are already inside of us. It’s our job to awaken them and begin living now!
