Looking into a window thermometer? A window thermometer can be a great addition to the house. In today’s day and age, you could check the news, the radio or even the Internet to find out what the current temperature is, but it might just be more convenient to look out the window to a mounted window thermometer to see what it is that much faster. These devices can be quite accurate, however at times they can be thrown off if you place them somewhere where the sun can shine brightly on it, for that reason, it’s best to put it on the side of your house that doesn’t get too much sunlight. Now, if you’re not sure which window thermometer you should get and are looking for a few reviews to help you decide, be sure to read on as I cover a few I found over at Amazon or you can check more forehead thermometer here: 1. Electrostatic Cling Outdoor Window Thermometer Here’s one of the cheapest and best-rated ones I’ve found, it really is a steal. This one only costs $5.99 and has been rated 4.5/5 stars by 11 customer reviews. This is as good as it gets as far as value is conce ed, it’s a simple see-through thermometer that adheres to the window or glass door that can easily be repositioned if necessary. It has a 7 ¼” diameter plastic dial with large easy to read numbers on it. This is in Fahrenheit by the way, the numbers are in blue and the pointer/needle is red and placed in the center. Reviewers find that this is very accurate when compared to more expensive electric thermometers, however, the negatives are that it needs to be placed where there is no sun hitting it and that it is invisible when it is dark outside. 2. La Crosse Technology WS-1025 Digital Window Thermometer If you’re looking for a digital one, here is one to consider. It has had 53 reviews giving it an average of 3.5/5 stars, so it’s pretty decent, it also costs about $13.03. This thing is stuck outside on your window and displays the temperature in large numbers as well as the max and min temperatures above and below. It’s a pretty good electrical device that is weather resistant, however, some believe that the inside temperature has an influence on it, thus skewing the outside temperature reading. 3. Oregon Scientific THT312 Wired Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer and Clock This may be a better option at 4.5/5 stars from 30 customers and coming in at $17.99. This displays the time, the indoor temperature as well as the outdoor temperature amidst blue lit LCD backdrop. It does its job and does it well, refreshing the temperatures every 30 seconds, there is even a clock with an alarm on it. So if you’re looking for a window thermometer, definitely consider those, however do look around more as there are other ones out there you may want instead.
