Business VoIP Challenge - Affordable Quality Service

Let face it, business phone service tasks. This is simply unacceptable sounds Darth Vader, crickets jar or dropped calls and other quality problems.

In fact, it was a lot of slow adoption of Internet phone service begins with reason. And the reason here - on the Internet.

You know, internet connectivity, over the past 10 years we have come a long way. Work phone company in 1999, we sold a T1 to the Internet nearly $ 2,000 a month, now they are only about $ 450 for a decent chain, maybe less in some areas.

Where we had a dial-56 / K, we now have a 12 Mbps cable modem (like a zillion - and a zillion times faster than dial-up) that can support dozens of computers and maybe even a few small offices in the VoIP business phones.

So, many VoIP quality issues ironed themselves. However, not all of them.

We still like to understand exactly how this technology can save money, why do we have a good business decision makers challenge, I mean a really good Internet phone service provider and a good Internet connection. We need to make sure that we do not end well for giving up phone service from Ma Bell and maybe even money to pay a bunch of expensive equipment to get cheap phone service.

Basics - How VoIP Works

So, we have our voice and convert them into 1s and 0s to the right of our oral analog voice data on our computer or IP phone. Then we squirt it over the internet and our Internet telephony service provider (ITSP) for viola and Data - Internet phone service!

The problem is, it sounds great, but we just know, really know, that would save money - right?

However, it does not always work ... Why? Because not all equal before the Internet connection and a VoIP phone service as a "real time" data stream requires a really good Internet connection. In addition to the best VoIP ADSL or cable modem connection, we risk a terrible service problems, and perhaps a lot of customer and employee complaints.

So, let me give you an example of what happens when we believe that we have a nice, big Internet, and it should be a good VoIP, but it can still fit in your account.

You have to catch an airplane, and you hop into a giant twelve-lane highway in its place to the airport. You know, it's just going to take about 15 minutes, because its 22:00 at night, and nobody on the road. Plus you have a twelve-lane highway, right?

Thus, the twelve-lane highway for its 12 Meg cable modem or 6 Meg ADSL connection. You just know it is a lot of bandwidth, right? I mean it, and it only cost about $ 60 a month, so it's a good idea, of course, we are gonna save a ton of money to move to VoIP - right?

Well, now you're Coming home from the airport several days later after his trip. You arrive at 4:30. Friday afte
oon. The same twelve-lane highway, the same car, same everything, except during peak hours!

How long it will take to get home? Does it matter, you're twelve-lane highway? Of course not. You are going to creep along, starts and stops, and if you have a VoIP conversation, we refer to as the jitter, packet loss and latency. VoIP and hate all this stuff, see?

So, what happened, that is what a lot of good times to go to the airport is not good when we share with other roads, right? Same with VoIP and a "best effort" Internet connection. There is simply no guarantee that when we have a large, clean pipe, a good VoIP will not end up sharing bandwidth with other Internet users.

The Quiet Engine Behind Every Connection Most people think of telecom services as towers, signals, and mobile data moving invisibly through the air. Yet behind every call that connects and every message that reaches its destination, there is another system quietly working in the background. That system is the call center. While customers often interact with telecom companies only when something goes wrong, these centers operate constantly, guiding problems toward solutions an
