In April 2012 Google, by far the biggest of the search engines, announced a new algorithm update. This is the means by which Google ranks a webpage and determines its place. Sites that have a very high page ranking within their niche will have obeyed the rules.

The objective of this latest update was to tackle spam, keyword stuffing, link farming and other dubious "Black hat webspam" practices which certain websites have used to get good position while rewarding "white hat" practices which improve the usability of a site.

The important thing is that Google, and the other search engines want to keep refining their search engines so that when a user types in a keyword phrase he rapidly finds what he is looking for and that there are no irrelevancies. Thus it is essential that those in the SEO industry ensure that all their practices are appropriate to the job at hand.

This means that links are from valid sites rather than from link farms and that the keywords are valid for search engines and describe the webpage.

There are many ways to ensure that a website gets a good ranking using legitimate and effective "white hat" techniques. WL Marketing practices all of them as can be found on the website list of their services.

Firstly there are articles and article submission, as long as these articles are actually about the same subject and are not just a nonsensical collection of keywords these are effective and necessary as the search engine webbots give a lot of kudos to new material. There are a Social network bookmarking and press releases which fall into the same category. There are Squidoo and hub pages which are effectively a different form of the above. And another very effective SEO tool is Directory Submission.

But the one thing that search engines rate above all else are back links. If they find a great many relevant links to a website they automatically add a great deal of weight to the page ranking. And now we tread into dangerous territory. A great many so called "link farms" exist which do little more than host a series of links from all sort of sites with no index or sorting and no relation to one another. Having one's site listed on one of these results in Google penalising the webpage ranking as they are regarded as "Black Hat".

However directories are a different matter. There are a great number of directories which organise the listings in a number of ways; alphabetically, by niche, by area serviced, by location of the listed site and so on. Typically these will give some description of the website as well as a backlink.

These are very white hat and are a effective way to boost page ranking along with performing other SEO activities. This too is important as a website should give the webbots as many reasons to recheck it as often as possible. Any website that remains unchecked will rapidly start dropping down the page ranking even if nothing else changes.

Yet behind every call that connects and every message that reaches its destination, there is another system quietly working in the background. That system is the call center. While customers often interact with telecom companies only when something goes wrong, these centers operate constantly, guiding problems toward solutions an

Sales teams felt overwhelmed, conver
