Women breasts are more likely to change throughout the life as the structure of breasts become different in men and women after puberty so as women breasts are more sensitive in structure and have more tissues so they develop more disease and infections. In order to take good care of breasts women should stay in touch with this part of the body on regular basis so that abnormal changes can be diagnosed as they take place.
What Are The Abnormal Breast Changes?
In breasts different types of changes take place as some of the changes are usual while others are unusual and unusual changes may lead to the development of breast cancer so it is crucial to recognize those changes at right time because at later stage those abnormalities become worse and it is not possible to treat those changes efficiently at the later stage.
- • If the size or shape of breast changes in a noticeable manner it must be checked by the doctor immediately because it can be due to breast cancer, although it can’t be said for sure that size and shape changes only due to breast cancer because it is normal for breasts to change the size in certain situations such as before periods and during pregnancy the size changes but if it happens without these conditions it is abnormal. If a woman performs regular breast examination she can notice these changes at once.
- • Nipple is important part of the breast so any change in it is also worthy to be noticed and consulted to the doctor like if position of the nipple changes such as if it turns inward it is unusual.
- • Skin changes come into the category of abnormal changes so they must not be ignored and should be consulted to the doctor as they take place.
- • Fluid discharge from nipple is unusual if it is except breast milk, however if it is bloody, yellowish or greenish it must be checked by the doctor to know the reason of this discharge.
- • The temperature of breasts should be same as the temperature of other body parts so in case of increased temperature of breasts a woman should see the doctor to find out the reason of this change in temperature.
