While an employee carry out his duty to the best of his capabilities, he or she has the tight to be granted with benefits and support from his or her employer in case something bad would happen to him or her in the line of duty. Workers compensation and return to work program are intended to recognize the efforts of every employee and repay them during emergencies and dire situations.rnBlue collared employees make up about a third of the working class in the United States. On everyone’s knowledge, blue collared workers are manual laborers who work on constructions sites, mines, refineries, factories, and other places where accidents can possibly occur. As a matter of fact, half of these workers have suffered from injuries during their working hours, being around with equipment and machineries that make them more prone to accidents.rnSince their job descriptions can involve mechanical jobs, technical installations, repair, or maintenance, the chances of getting injured are much higher than those of white collared professionals. More often than not, the injuries that they sustain can render them permanently disabled. rnIn any case of permanent damage has been sustained by an employee, the employer has to give him or her the compensation that he or she needs despite the fact that he or she cannot work for quite some time. When the time comes that the employee has fully recovered from his or her injuries, he or she should be allowed to resume his job or given a lighter task for adaptation purposes. Workers compensation return to work program, therefore, is intended to protect the rights of the workers, especially those who are not aware of his or her privileges.rnConsidering rehiring a hurt employee with permanent disability may still be the better option than supporting him or her with monthly allowances without working. Some employers refuse to acknowledge workers compensation return to work program, fearing that they can lose huge amounts while not getting any input from the injured employee. However, allowing that employee to get back to work gives the both parties the advantages that they deserve. Workers compensation return to work program benefits both employers and employees. Therefore, it must be understood profoundly by both parties so that they can all gain from it on the positive way.
