A right of passage. A small souvenir of who we once were. High school yearbooks are many things to many people. We plan the outfit and look. We have nightmares about the big day. But even for those of us who look forward to it and think we're ready, there are just some things you can't predict. A zit or bad haircut. A coffee stain on your white shirt. This is bad enough for the everyday Joe, but imagine the horror for our celebrity icons!

I would think that if I was a celeb, that would probably be my worst nightmare! Some clever blogger digging up the embarrassing high school photo I'd just assumed stay hidden! Especially if you're the new face in town, or just finally got that big break.

In this instance, the yearbook has become like a skeleton in the closet. With the poor young actor just praying they aren't next. There are even sites dedicated to this very thing. If you ever want to feel better about yourself check out iambored.com. They have pics of these people when they were in junior high. Talk about a laugh!

Angelina Jolie has nothing to fret over. Seriously, does the woman ever look bad?! Then there are the adorable starts like Christina Aguilera...who are and have always been adorable. No worries there either. So enough about them, let's discuss the funny ones!

Jon Stewart is as hilarious looking then as he is now. In a goofy sort of way. And guess who has a mullet in their high school yearbook photo? Paul Rudd! Jason Bou
e, or at least the guy who grew up to play him, was actually mousy...which I think is fantastic! But my personal favorite. The one that makes me laugh the hardest is Carson Daly. It is just priceless!

Now let's talk about some ladies who make me laugh. Tina Fey has a cute pic, but I don't think she would think so. Eva Longoria, who I find stunning, had huge hair and even more makeup. She looks so much more attractive now toned down a bit. The last on this part of the list is Avril Levigne. She is repeatedly found if you Google 'worst high school yearbook photo'. I actually think it's refreshing to see!

Not just celebrities need to consider this though. Reality stars almost have a rougher time. If you've ever seen the pics of Kate Gossling, you know exactly what I'm saying. The Jersey Shores situation, Mike Sorrentino has a real 'situation' with his high school photo's. The super string bean covered in pimples. Not the pretty boy media darling of today!

So I guess there's two ways to look at bad pics in high school yearbooks. You could be on the side that is embarrassed by them and hope they never surface. Or you could be on the receiving end and just sit back and laugh at how 'normal' the beautiful people were at one point.
