Recently I was enjoying a summer afternoon, listening to some golden oldies of yesterday, and watching leaves rustle across the yard. Wandering back into time, my thoughts turned to the days when neighbours and families enjoyed weekend barbeques in the backyard. Paper lanterns were the only means of light and the music was courtesy of a record player. Saturday night was the only date night, and someone borrowed their daddy’s car so everyone could cruise the town and check out the nightlife. Cruising along with the top down, and the radio blaring, was a great past time. As great as they sounded on the radio, it would have been something to know how they would have sounded all those years ago, if produced by a Focusrite Saffire or a Focusrite Saffire Pro. Now I must admit the good old days were great and we enjoyed a more relaxed way of life than is present in today’s fast-paced world of high tech computers and gadgets that do everything imaginable, but in reality every time frame has its share of failures and achievements to brag about. The best way to spoil your fun in the sun is to have gone to all the trouble and expense, not to mention the time involved in organizing a great new sound on high tech equipment only to have your music sound like yesterday’s news when it is presented. In today’s fast-paced world of technology, producing great sound in an effortless manner can be a snap if you have the right equipment. The Saffire Pro 40, for instance, is one of those fantastic gadgets of today, it not only aids in time consumption, but also it will eliminate the need for costly, repetitious wiring changes due to the fantastic new 8 Plug-in arrangement. It is equipped with double headphones, and enough extra hook-ups to rock out those oldies with the best of them, and all at a top quality sound. Gone forever, are the days of splicing wires, blending tone, and testing microphones for quality sound. Today, background noise worries are virtually a thing of the past, and blending multiple songs into that one great song is as simple as pushing a button. Remember how you used to scout out the layout for plugs and space to set up equipment, not to mention the weight of all the stuff that had to be transported from one site to another? Well you can consider all of that hassle and struggle one of yesterday’s outdated memories. It is time to get your equipment out of the closet and into the future, if you are considering the purchase of a Focusrite Saffire or a Focusrite Saffire Pro; it is by far the wisest and easiest choice you will ever make. Not only do these unique units take centre stage on performance, but they also corner the market in size, shape and pricing so you will have ample space for newer items, more time to work on them and your wallet will get a break as well.
