The city-state of Singapore has witnessed developmental activities in a massive scale in the past decade or two, and this has led to the city becoming one of the most developed cities in the world. Plenty of developmental programs have been undertaken by the government on all fronts in the past. Areas of architectural infrastructures, cultural backgrounds, historical monuments, etc. have all seen tremendous levels of construction, managements and preservation. This has made the city one of the finest in the world, attracting people from cities far and wide!

These developmental activities have also led to the increase in popularity of the city as a residential area as more and more people from the suburban regions are now moving to live in the city. Apart from these citizens of the state-city, people from foreign countries are also migrating to the city and making it their home. While most foreign settlers are in the city to find employment in the various companies and industrial sectors housed in the city, there are others who merely wish to enjoy the serenity and cultural essence of Singapore. After all, the city offers the best of both worlds, where residents can enjoy the sophistication and development of the modern world along with the simple pleasures of the cultural and historical world.

One of the latest developmental activities to be undertaken in the city is the construction of a link-way in the Yishun province. This link-way, to be named The NorthPoint Link, will be constructed by Frasers Centrepoint Limited (FCL), and will connect the Yishun MRT Station with the bus interchange that will come up in the upcoming NorthPoint City. NorthPoint City is being developed as a complex comprising of the housing sector (consisting of the luxury condominiums of the North Park Residences Singapore and a retail shopping sector. The construction and development of the link-way is set to commence in August 2015, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2017 or the beginning of 2018.

The link-way will also comprise of several retail shops in order to enable the common public to purchase their necessities while using the link-way. The link-way will be donned by over 30 fully air conditioned convenience stores and food & beverage shops for the use of the public. The construction of the NorthPoint Link comes as great news for the people of the Yishun province, and is also expected to affect the sales of the many luxury condominiums in the surrounding area. Residential luxury condominium complexes like the North Park Residences Yishun Central are set to receive more preference due to this piece of development in the area as life for the residents is set to become much better post-development.

Over the past few years, luxury condominiums have become the most preferred choice of housing structure among the people of Singapore, and with the construction and development of the NorthPoint Link, condominiums in the Yishun province are just about to become even more popular among the many people of the city.
