I learned at the (National Association of Female Executives) NAFE National Conference in Might. As reported by the survey, 40% of the smallest enterprise owners - those with much less than $200,000 in annual revenues - are planning no vacation whatsoever this summer. 7. Take a short break to sharpen abilities - If you just can't justify taking time off to kick back and relax, then take a few days off from work to learn something new - establishment or personal. Taking continuing education courses at a local school or company school can be a low-cost and efficient approach to break from your workplace routine, be with new individuals and try new things. Some programs are 3-5 days off-site if that suits you schedule much better.
8. Maintain your priorities straight - When you go using the exercise of listing the things you truly care about, is your business genuinely #1, 2, and three? Outside of work, your priorities may well be connecting with family and friends, spending time with children, cultivating personal interests, staying healthy or pursuing an avocation. To regain balance inside your life, you'll want to maintain work, family and personal time in perspective. Those other priorities help you find more enjoyment within your time away from the company.
