Today, everyone knows something or heard about yoga. It is usually identified with the Indian mystic religiosity, considering the source of some wonderful abilities, or it is treated in the West as a universal method of recovery. In layman's view Yoga - Meditation and most unusual pieces, gets up from his body. The ethical requirements, few have heard, and even those who are more or less familiar with the Raja Yoga of Patanjali, they seem too archaic and abstract to merit serious consideration. Well, what kind of archaic ethics soaked with blood twentieth century?
Many do not see any connection with the practice of yoga moral principles. Some contemporaries of Patanjali and his commentators have criticized this yoga for the fact that the main purpose in it - to achieve personal liberation, and on this basis it was considered contrary to morality. This is not entirely true, since today we carry out reconstruction of the true meaning of the traditional yogic path, we can definitely say that when communicating with the unconscious person is, above all, its liberation from ignorance itself.
In India, traditionally considered that person comes to yoga is not accidental, but earned it through their actions in previous inca
ations. Such a belief, though it may not be typical of European, is already a specific setting to improve.
Morality of our time - the problem is very vague. In fact, the origin of moral values in man is not traced. Maybe we are from the higher world appears, being born on earth, so then again it come back and live under these laws, we are here only occasionally obey? Unfortunately, these laws, people cannot always follow.
What is morality? Does it exist today at all, at least - prescribed? Moral, decent behavior, ethics - all of this sounds strange, while the company reached a furious desire for material well-being solely on the one hand and the need to survive - on the other. Since man is a living creature, he, like any self-organizing system that exchanges energy with the environment in order to prolong his life. This medium can be divided into two worlds - living and inanimate nature of the planet Earth, as well as society.
The man introduced and is taking some action to a certain extent in each of these areas. Part of their aim at the conservation and the continued existence of the body and its form, the satisfaction of needs of nature, a part - is redundant, as a rule, she goes into what is called the satisfaction of desires, whose number has no limits. Although the man in this life to find meaning in it and what is called happiness, you need not too much.
So, apart from the desires that may have no relation to reality, there is a hard necessity. It is the needs of the lower levels and survival needs - needs, without which man cannot survive as a living organism. But there is also a higher demand of intellectual and spiritual growth. The ethic of yoga comes to help people here.
