The number of "types" of yoga is fairly large. A traditional physical and mental discipline originating in India, yoga has been practiced for centuries, and is a sequence of postures and positions, synchronized with your breathing, created to improve mind, body and soul. Yoga can offer plenty of health benefits and is a good way for the general public to develop flexibility, reduce stress, and live a fitter way of life.
