Your Sparkling Soul: The Heart of God

Did you really think that you can plan your life out? You may certainly go ahead and try to. It makes sense to me to make every effort to do so, though sooner or later you’ll need to surrender to a much bigger plan at play. The higher power/ God loves to play in good spirits. We’ve each found ourselves laughing at one time or another when the plan we’ve meticulously made is shaken to the core. Sometimes we can see a wonderful humor in it. Other times maybe not. There is certainly good reason for unexpected things to happen. We may not always know what the reason is; and if we do, it’s only what we’d like to think!

The mind of God speaks through us all the time. You know it and I know it. It is just the truth. Although it has been referred to as the mind of God, it is really felt from the depth within our heart, so I would like to say the “Heart of God”. It comes through us in a moment’s flash. It’s like a bolt of lightening with loud thunder, the quick quivers and chills that run down your spine, the hair-raising moments, a sudden surge of electrifying energy, or the utter feeling of going deaf, dumb and speechless. It may be that spiritual realization or simple self knowledge that comes at exactly the right moment when you need it most. It’s the convergence of all energy light for the knowing of now.

This divine guidance appears in so many intriguing ways, regardless of what it’s intended for. It may be taking another route to work that turns out to shield you from a deadly car accident, or leaving a job you have outgrown or not going to the party you were invited to, and perplexed in not knowing why. You’ll want to be able to receive the messages as they are given for you to heed them. This is your “Sparkling Soul” that shimmers with a larger spiritual vision. It is your soul’s impression within the greater eternal whole. It is the guidance that moves you as you need to know. You may want to say that it occurs on “A Need To Know Basis”. You will know it just when you need it. This is the Spiritual Vision.

To allow “Your Sparkling Soul” to sparkle its essence you’ll want to relinquish the ego. The ego is your false self and not your friend. It will mislead and discourage you because it lives on the food of fear and insecurity. It is motivated by fear and projects fear. Dr. Wayne Dyer fully captures this in his chapter entitled “Obstacles To Connecting To Intention”. He talks about seven steps to overcome the ego’s hold on you. I will summarize them briefly and you can refer to his book “The Power of Intention: Learning To Create Your World Your Way” if you’d like further narrative. These are the steps he names: 1. “stop being offended” as this creates only destructive energy. 2. “Let go of your need to win.”, as there are no losers in a world of shared energy. 3. “Let Go of Your Need To Be Right”. You can choose a kind, loving, receptive spirit and not let ego enslave you. 4. “Let Go of Your Need to be Superior”. This means to focus on your own self growth without comparing yourself to others around you. 5.”Let Go of your need to have more”. The ego is never satisfied and is perpetually striving. You are Spirit so feel good about arriving as you are. 6. “Let go of identifying yourself on the basis of your achievements.” What’s of value is the source within you, not in doing the doing. It is in the being. Lastly, he notes 7. “Let go of your reputation.” This is what others think of you and is a distraction from your inner voice, or what I refer to as “The Heart of God”. In summary, Dr. Dyer captures three main themes that he regards as major obstacles to living in spirit, or what I have specified as “Your Sparkling Soul”. He notes these as “your thoughts, your energy and your self importance” (pg. 86).

The greatest reward of letting the ego go is that you live fully in your true essence,“Your Sparkling Soul”. The “The Heart of God” is that we all find our Sparkling Souls to fulfill the divine vision in love.
