Your Subconscious Mind, an Introduction

So many people today are talking about neuroscience and the mind-body connection. It is good that science is focusing on this connection at long last, and, it is time for all of us to get back to basics in better understanding our own inner workings and learning about how our own subconscious works. From the vantage point of energy psychology, I would like to introduce you to your subconscious mind.
Imagine that you have a young friend who lives inside your mind. It stands behind every aspect of your life and supports your body, mind, and spirit in all ways. Remember that your analytical (left brain) mind only is responsible for about 1-2% of all life functions, so that means that the rest of your body-mind system is run by this sensitive and powerful friend.
Whenever you think a thought, encounter an idea, react to outside stimulation, this friend says "Yes!", and jots that down to your experience. If you watch a scary movie, read a tear-jerker book, empathize with a loved one, your inner friend claims that as your own experience and places your reaction into your inner emotional archives. If you have ever experienced trauma, then your friend attempts to hide that away so that it ceases to hurt, and at the same time your inner friend creates a protection mechanism within your inner beliefs that will keep you from ever coming close to re-experiencing that pain. The protection provided here is so thorough that it inadvertently creates blockages to you venturing toward similar experiences which hurt you before. This may keep you from entering relationships, becoming famous, earning lots of money, etc. This inner blockage is often hidden from your conscious mind, which continues to set high goals and then gets frustrated or impatient when the goals seem to be self-sabotaged.
To explain this in another way: When you were born you created a body based on the DNA of your parents. Included in and around that body is a bioenergetic field that resonates with the coding of the emotional DNA you have inherited. You constantly add your own experiences to this bioenergetic field, and as you do, your vibrational frequency shifts. Based on quantum physics and the laws of resonance, when one thing vibrates at a certain frequency it automatically attracts other things vibrating at the same frequency.
We pick up frequencies from others. Have you ever entered a room where someone is in a horrible mood? How did that affect your mood?
And, we attract others who show up with the same frequencies as our own. Do you ever feel that those closest to you are "mirrors" of you?
We also attract cycles of events. I have cleared clients who have had multiple car accidents, who keep attracting the same kind of abusive relationships, who have lost multiple jobs, etc.
There are powerful ways in which you may communicate with your subconscious, limbic brain. First of all, treating it gently and letting it know you are grateful for its vigilance is important. Speak to your inner friend as if it is a young child who gets scared easily. You cannot "will" your subconscious to let go of its control - that is its job and it will maintain control until long after you have worn yourself out exerting will alone. There are easy-to-use energy therapy tools that you can utilize now to access your own bioenergetic field and, while communicating with your inner self, clear out the old blockages, the long-held emotions, and the deep inner beliefs that were automatically created based on past traumas, inherited traumas, and distortions that were not even yours.
With more awareness of the roles played by your subconscious mind and electro-magnetic field, along with understanding of how to best access this and communicate with it, you will be able to much more easily identify and clear inner blockages to your success. Here are five basic tips to remember...
1. Every time you say something, your subconscious mind says, "Yes!"
2. Every time you react to something that you see, hear, touch, feel, your subconscious registers it, stores it, and believes it to be a true experience for you - even if you were merely an observer.
3. Every time you experience an emotional reaction you store it in your body, in your electro-magnetic field, and ultimately in your DNA. If all of your experiences can be passed to your offspring in the genetics that they inherit from you, imagine what you have inherited from your own ancestors.
4. Although you have inherited, experienced, reacted to many stimuli, you DO have a choice now to feed your subconscious only the information and experiences that vibrate at the frequency that you choose.
5. Treat your subconscious as your most precious belonging, and you will be rewarded in every aspect of your life!
Understanding your subconscious is the first step to start clearing your inner resistance and blockages, and this will help you improve your body, mind and spirit.
