He hung a wooden bird in a tree as the target and asked his disciples to aim at the eye of the bird. Before shooting the bird the first disciple was asked to explain what he saw. “He said, “I see the trees, the branches, the leaves, thesky, and the bird”.

The sage asked the disciple to wait and he asked the second disciple to explain then he replied, “I only see the eye of the bird”.The sage said, “Very Good” and asked him to shoot the bird. The arrow went straight and hit the eye of the bird. From this story it’s clear that unless we focus we cannot achieve our goal, it’s hard to focus or concentrate but it’s a skill to learn.
