What is the Gray Divorce?

Let's take a moment to reflect on the show "Everyone Loves Raymond." In one episode, Debra notes the striking image of her in-laws, Marie and Frank, sitting silently at the lunch table. This scene prompts an important question: Is this portrayal of communication simply Hollywood, or does it reflect real life? Interestingly, a British study on communication among married couples suggests this depiction holds. The findings indicate a trend: as marriages progress over time, the amount of conversation couples engage in during meals decreases.

Now you tell me that I am powerless to heal myself from my hurts, hang-ups, and bad habits. So where is the hope? Funny you should ask. Hope, that is the third topic we talk about in Celebrate Recovery.
