God is a verb. God simply “IS”. God is the "Great I AM". When Moses asked God on Mt. Sinai, whom shall I say sent me, God said; “I AM THAT I AM”. Tell them that “I AM” hath sent thee. “I AM” refers to the verb to “BE”. And the essence of the verb to be is - “IS”. God simply “IS” God is a verb, “BEING” constantly alive - a Living “BEING” in constant expression of love which is continuously flowing through everything throughout creation; flowing through you and me.

Throughout my 20's and early 30’s I fancied myself the Great Artist, my ego swelling with each affirmation. When people gave me the compliment; You have a God-given talent, I would respond with; If you knew how hard I worked to hone my abilities you wouldn't say such a stupid thing! Blessed are the Merciful for They Will be Shown Mercy

Our beloved Lord Yeshuah said; "But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." Matthew 9:13. He was quoting Hosea 6:6; "For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of Yahweh rather than burnt offerings." Forgiveness of others transgressions against us is the purest form of sacrifice after the laying down of our lives for others. The giving of our own life to save the life of a friend, (or enemy) is the supreme act of heroism.

Synopsis of Four Beatitudes

Brokenness is the theme of the first Beatitude. The significance of being poor in spirit is simply that, as long as I was living my life under the fallacious notion that I was self-sufficient, I thought that I didn't need God in my life. I now realize that our need to love and know that we are loved by our Creator is at the very core of our being as children of our God. It is the motivating factor in our desire to worship our Beloved. Our Creators call for us to worship is our Beloveds invitation to simply enjoy being in the presence of the Holy ONE.
