Shine, in an article posted on 1-14-13, the results of a recent study has confirmed that the more your kids are fed fast food the more they are susceptible too dealing with asthma and eczema. The study was done with nearly 2 million children from 100 countries and the results are very stable.

One quick change that can be done immediately is to replace what you are drinking with one or more of these very healthy and vitamin rich beverages: Fresh juice (not juice bought from the store loaded with sugar and other stuff, which is very bad) but get a juicer! They cost less than 50 bucks for a decent one and then you just cut the fruit or veggies up and feed them into the machine, the juice comes out in a cup, and you’re done. It takes about 10 minutes.

FDA decides its time to enforce the new Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009

According to takepart.com, in an article posted in their food section, an entire year passed by before the FDA decided it was time to enforce the 2009 FSMA. This was most likely due to the traffic of political gain conce s. So while they were all trying to make sure certain politicians were in office and certain ones were not there were foods that were being recalled one right after the other in 2012 due to safety standards that were not enforceable. Now with two new rules, the FDA is changing the way we process, grow and handle our food and even what we allow imported into the US food wise.

On a cold February in 2005 my wife and I set out to hike a portion of the Appalachian Trail, it would be the first time we have tried this in our lives. It would also be the trip of a lifetime and one that would change our lives forever.
