In the book of Genesis the man named Cain slew his brother Abel, because he was jealous that God had honored Abel's offering, but he didn't respect Cain's offering and Cain became distraught and angry with God and towards his brother. The way Cain decided to handle his anger was to let it manifest in the act of murder towards his brother and therefore the first murder in humanity was committed.
I'm able to get up from my bed today...Thank you Jesus! My closet is full of nice clothes...Praise you God! My shower has hot water to invigorate me into my morning schedule...God you are good! My kitchen table is ado ed with a wonderful breakfast...Thank you Jehovah Jireh! I've had money to keep gas in both my vehicles and their both running well...A Blessing from you Lord! My travel to work today was safe...Only by your hand Father! My legs and feet enable be to walk many miles daily and to climb ladders repeatedly...By your power Holy Spirit!r
Praise you Lord God, yes it's me, do you remember my voice? Have you been able to see? What nerve have I to ask for a single thing to straighten out this screwed up life, to take me back under your wing? It's been years Dear God and where have I been...living it up, wallowing in sin. I laid down each night and never gave you a second thought, forgetting Calvary and the suffering that it brought. Yes, Lord, it's me, down on my luck again, down on bended knee. How strange it feels to enter and ask once again, please, Lord, be my deliverer, be my friend.
When our forefathers stepped on our shores in the 1600's they were seeking to separate themselves from an oppressive government and establish a place where they could experience religious freedom. Somewhere in our very short existence of 239 years we have seriously lost that vision.r
Out of places to run? Exhausted from the fear of tomorrow? Unable to sleep to restore your well being? Not finding relief from the new prescription? Listening to the doctor's diagnosis, but knowing in your heart they don't hold the answer. Continuing to work in a mind and body that want to quit. Hoping and praying that this hell, will soon end. Wanting to live, not wanting to meet God today...not in this battered condition. Wondering how much a mind can worry, how much can a body suffer, in the end, what was this ordeal really about?
Remember that little prayer of grace 'God is Great, God is Good, let us thank him for our food.' So basic, yes he is GREAT, beyond human comprehension...GREAT! Man is he good, good to you and good to me. Got a roof over your head, know where your next meal is coming from, is your mind and body well? If the answers are yes, know why? Because, God is GOOD! He's good, because he tolerates his creation to completely ignore him and he still loves and loves. When someone loves you like that...that's GOOD! He's good, because he sent you a means of Salvation in his Son Jesus.
Sin...wrong, wrongdoing, evil, evildoing, badness, crime, offense, immorality. Has man somehow escaped from these descriptions? Has the lust of worldly things so blinded us? Lust...A strong or uncontrollable desire, especially for sexual pleasure, to desire eagerly. So captivated by selfish fulfillment that we wallow in our immorality and wear it like a badge of honor. Seeking the pleasures of man other than those unto God.
Spoken of by the prophets 2,000 years before his birth, being sent to a lost and dying world to set right what Adam had failed to do. A plan by Almighty God to restore your relationship with himself. The 'cornerstone' which would become the stumbling block to many. Where is the Messiah? How long will our God, Jehovah, let us suffer at the hands of the Romans? Surely he will send a mighty all conquering King to give Israel, his chosen, their Glory once again.
Do you love God? How do you love God? Does your love for God seem to be 'lip service' or heartfelt love? Has God given you a reason to love him today? Does he need to do something miraculous to receive your love?
I find myself in a very dry place now Lord. My mind races with fearful experiences from days past. I can't seem to live in the 'now' moment.' Anxiety has raised its ugly head to ruin another day. I read a Christian book, read your Word, pray everything that weighs heavy on my heart, but I go to bed restless, toiling in my mind about tomorrow. Why do I allow myself to worry, you're already there...in tomorrow. How can my laying awake until four in the morning make the slightest bit of difference in tomorrow's outcome?
I watched a very disturbing video today, I wish I hadn't seen. I believe the gentleman narrating the video is a professor at a Arkansas university. He is a theologian and has spent a number of years studying the books of the Bible. He proceeds in telling how he's often heard the question asked 'why is the most powerful country ever on earth, not even mentioned in the Bible?' Well he says, it is! In the book of Jeremiah Chapter 51 verse 12-14, verse 29, 47 and verse 48 he claims the prophet is indeed speaking of America as Babylon.
Praise you Father God, to you Lord be the Glory and Honor. This is the foundation to life, these are the building blocks on the journey of life that will Bless you in ways you could never imagine. Praising your God! God created us to be instruments of Praise, but in the darkness of this world we found our comforts in earthly things rather then Godly things. We chose to fulfill selfish desires and maybe, not intentually, ignored God who created us.

I don't know whose saying this was, but it sure struck a chord with me, 'consider the work of God: for who can make straight, which he made crooked?" Have you ever been so distraught you've said, I wish I'd never been born! If I'd know my life would unfold like this, I'd chosen not to be born. One problem...God and God alone plans the beginning of one's day, one's journey and one's span of existence.
Father God thank you for your forgiveness today. Storms in my life daily give me a reason to pray. You Lord God are the giver of all good things, hearing from you daily with the positive instruction it brings. I look towards Heaven with a very watchful eye, please Jesus help me, I've forgotten how to cry. Life has many ways to get you down, open my ears Holy Spirit to hear what you're saying...a peaceful quiet sound. I feel like I've been praying my entire life. This pain, that problem, how am I going to do it, Lord I'm tired of all this strife.r
We have been wonderfully and fearfully created. We are the image of the Most High God. Everything I've been searching for has been in me since conception. We are on an assigned journey in life, designed in the mind of God. Laid out before us is a maze of adventure, the choices of right and wrong and within us God's Spirit dwells, speaking to our hearts the path to follow. The puzzling question is...these artist are three powerhouses of the music industry and their music creations are crying out for change, they have money, fame, drugs, sex, but in their hearts they know what they really want is...change.

That's surely not very big...surely I must have that much faith. to live by fear is to no live by faith. Without faith I can't please you. Have I ever pleased you? I know I've certainly grieved you.
