Do Your Dreams

I sport around town in a late model Acura TL. It's nothing super exceptional—I'm not bragging on it—but it is a sports car. It's a four-door charcoal-silver color, and it has a 250-horsepower, automatic transmission. Now, why I tell you this—a thing I never dreamed I'd be telling you—is because I've always wondered what Marshall Sylver means when he says, "Power is for use." I've never quite interpreted that until recently, while driving on the interstate. You know me—I'm a very nice and polite guy.

Imperfectly Done, But Done

There was an American general during World War II who was quoted to have said, "A good plan violently executed today is better than a perfect plan executed next week." The words may not be exact, but you definitely catch the drift. And that is a characteristic of achievers, of those who get ahead. They're decisive; they get enough information, and they act. Some people call them impetuous. Of course, the ground they cover compared to a normal person is incredible—but they get enough information, they make a decision, and they move on it. That's a trait that you can develop, too.

On the Threshold of Unparalleled Success

Think of yourself as on the threshold of unparalleled success. That's what I told a coaching client recently. We were in a coaching session, and she was explaining how her income had dropped, how the economy had her worried, and how it was harder to sell—which is why her income had dropped. Now, by the way, this was after she'd just picked up a new client who promised to give her a good portion of what used to be her previous income every month. That one client is going to be doing that because not everybody is reacting the same way to the economy, you understand.

Let Those You Love Know That You Love Them, Today

Here we are on the edge of civilized Panamá, pretty doggone close to Tocumen International Airport, the airport that services Panamá. And inside these lot lines the grief, the well wishing, is serious. Rosendo Moreno, father of the clan, aged 74, passed away a few days ago. And the family is gathered, we’re getting ready to go to the final service. Friends are gathering, well-wishers, those who want to encourage them and keep from being alone. And outside this lot line life goes on as normal.

It’s Different Than What You're Doing Now

When you see someone, when you meet someone, when you interact with someone, when you get a chance to look at someone who has done what you want to do, whoosh, you have an amazing belief change—because you can see that it is possible. Now, I don't mean people out there. Because we know there are multi-bega-deca-millionaires out there, billionaires out there. I'm talking about when you see someone that you judge as relatively someone you know. That's good.

He Was Hunting His Vision

What remarkable power did the man, Walt Disney, have, possess, use, move and flow with, that gave him such vision, such striving to achieve excellence at all costs? He was a man who never let reality get in the way. I believe you can find that power in the term HoloMagic. If you're a regular reader, you know that I just came back from Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. And you know how impressed I was, with everything running perfectly, functioning in perfect order. It's a world that is perfect.

Why Aren’t You Doing Something?

You mean you think, you are fearful, you are worried that, your head might be on the cutting block next? You mean you think your job isn’t secure? Hold it, hold it I thought that was the whole thing about having a job, was the security of it. The lie is exposed! Enough said on that point, ...

You Were Not Born to Live Like Brutes

It was Odysseus who said it—Ulysses in Latin, Odysseus in Greek—and it was Dante who wrote about it in The Infe o. This striking couplet seared into my mind and has guided me, given me much benefit, over the last 30 years of my life. I share it with you now… They're at war. They’ve traveled ...

The Three Mores of the Extra Mile

People are always asking me, "How can I get ahead?" But that isn't what amazes me that they ask. What amazes me is that sometimes they really, sincerely don't know what to do, and don't know how to do it. And when they hear it, a lot of times it's a revelation from out of this world. Let me ...

Meditation is an Active Event

Hello, my friends! Today I'm going to talk about a concept that comes straight out of Chapter 13 of The NEW Think and Grow Rich—HoloMagic, the Sixth Sense, the other dimension. Even though we're going to focus in on a specific point, the whole chapter is about triggering the self-fulfilling prophecy and the Law of Attraction, making these seemingly inexplicable and very rare psychic occurrences a constant companion in your life. It is for achievers and it is for people who dream big, and it is for those who obviously are spiritual who develop this path.

Same Winds, Different Direction

Today's author's insight goes without comment. It's from pages 174-175 of The NEW Think and Grow Rich, talking about reframing, recontexting, and reconceptualizing. So often you hear me say, this philosophy is not new. You find in my humble opinion, the best, most actionable presentation of the ...

If You Grab Hold of That Same Kind of Passion

As I write this, I'm with my family in the Magic Kingdom of Walt Disney World. We're having a great time, and I'll tell you what—this Walt Disney is a good example of someone who set out with a vision and a dream, and a standard of excellence. Today we're in the Orlando version; there are thousands and thousands of families here. In fact, this stuff that you might have heard about a recession—you'd never know it's happening here, I tell you. What do we have here, with Walt Disney? Do we have a man who didn't have any setbacks in his life? No, he had several.

“Use my time! Use my time! Use my time!!”

The poet wrote, “There’s a destiny that shapes our ends, rough hew them how we will.” I’ve lost several friends and family members, good friends in the internet community, father-in-law recently. Sad. We all will die. Then I happened to be looking through photo albums, family albums. Oh, all the people that are no longer here that formed important parts of my life! And that can be very, very sad, too.

The Crippled Superman

I was in a Reno airport when I first heard the news. I had an immediate gut reaction. Looking at the newspapers I saw the headlines announcing Superman was dead. He was a great actor. He was of my generation, and he was important to us. And then there’s something else, he was my exact age. The shocking headline read, “Man Of Steel Dead At 52!” Some years earlier this model of masculinity, a superb athlete, even doing his own film stunts, met with a tragic horsing accident, and in a millisecond, the virile, flying man of steel plummeted to a wracked quadriplegic.

GrayBeard, Dinosaurs, And Good Grooming

It was just one of those little things that happen at a good meal. Comments—you know, we all share them. It really didn't mean anything, other than the fact that it did give me a moment to think. I was having lunch with a very, very close female friend and we've kind of, as they say, grown old together. We've been the best of friends for 25-27 years. We're in this restaurant, and she looks around and there was a bunch of people that look to be about our age, and we're both youthful looking.

Riches Are a Result

Let's talk a little bit about c2, as in that HoloMagic c2 Factor. You might remember Einstein's famous and well-known formula, E = mc2. Let's talk about that for a moment. "E" is capitalized; "E" stands for Energy. Going across the equal sign, "m," which is usually written in lower case, is matter—times c-squared. C is the speed of light, and squared—well, that has to be a colossal number! In the spiritual realms, you know how tiny the vibrations can be—but that's what happens. This equation says that energy equals matter, matter equals energy. One's on each side of the equation.

The Seven Cures For A Lean Purse

There is a problem with our educational system, which could be solved by introducing one text That text, by George S. Clayson, is The Richest Man in Babylon. There's a reason why nobody receives financial education in the public school system. It's because they don't want you to have it. It's a little more complex tha I want to go into here, but literally, they do not want you to have financial education. Without financial education, you make a more docile sheep, and you pay more taxes. But you can still find the info you need!

I Have Run The Good Race

I sent an article out recently, and I had one of the beautiful people on my subscriber list write me back. She happens to be a practicing psychic, and so she gave me a message, apparently because she was touched with the depth, the profoundness of the article. The basic message was that she had gone into trance, and she felt someone resting their hand on her shoulder. And she told me what the feelings or sentiments were, including the fact that she felt I was speaking with the voice of someone who has done their work—who is able and ready to go.

Out Of The Blue Bailout

What are you gonna say? I was caught between a rock and a hard place the other day. It was with a person I've got a certain debt with that I've been working with—which is a business debt. No issue, cash flow management, the rest of the stuff—but we've never called him and said, "Hey, it's tough economic times, we're having hard times." We've never been, to my knowledge, late on a payment—and again, with the ebb and flow and flux of business, the U.S. Postal Service, etc., I don't consider a few days or even a couple of weeks late.

Unless you're living in a cave and you don't need any of the essentials of food, shelter, transportation, etc., and unless you haven't heard the news, unless you haven't had, maybe, a family member affected—and there are people who haven't—or, unless, of course, you have a no-fail government job - it's bad. It's Like Pumping Water Up The Hill

That's three I know about in the last three days. Now, I very seldom take a public political position—although as you may know, I'm an iconoclast and I'm pretty much against what's normal. But that's in general. But on the immigration issue, I've got close connections. Of course, I’m NOT in immigration atto ey, and I do stand to be corrected… And this doesn’t apply to those who are rich and are willing to invest huge sums of money in the U.S. economy, because, of course, they can get in… I've got a wife and a child in Panamá. The Accumulation Of Riches And The Human Life Cycle

Here's a moment of insight, while it's actually happening, into the life of an author. I am reading my Spanish translation of The NEW Think and Grow Rich. They call it El Nuevo Piense y Hágase Rico. And I come across this line, "La acumulación de dinero no puede dejarlo al azar, a la buena fortuna, a la suerte." Now, I'm not going to assume, since you're in a primarily English audience at this moment, that you don’t fully understood that.

Reminding the Entire HoloCosm

Are you like most of us? Do you need an occasional kick in the bucket? Well, here it is, then! Everybody who lives by our philosophy of success knows that you need to have guiding affirmations—especially the one that you fill out in the Formula for Riches, on page six of The NEW Think and Grow Rich. You need to have it so handy you can recite it by memory! How many of us do that? Certainly the percentages in this crowd are swayed!... You're going the extra mile here, making your success happen to you. But how many of us get up, and that's the guiding light in the morning?

An Inside Job

Accept that life is imperfect—and that's perfect—and deal with what emerges. You know, so many people get backed up and stopped up, and then fall into the blame mode because something didn't happen the way they wanted. Someone didn't offer them what they wanted, be it that opportunity, that job, or maybe someone stood in their way. Things aren't going the way they like, and maybe someone else is so lucky. The fact of the matter is, life is perfect. That is life. The definition of life is that it's always going to change.

Treat The Next Step Like It’s Important

During a recent teleconference, I was asked, "Once you've taken the step of acquiring The NEW Think and Grow Rich, what's the next step? What's the best way to begin to implement the principles that you and Napoleon Hill teach in the book The NEW Think and Grow Rich?" Well, I advised them to read that book dozens and dozens of times-to read it 'til you catch on fire. The day that you catch yourself on fire-because it has to be done by you-your life will change immensely for the better. Forever. Permanently. It's a long-term gig you're involved in. Treat it like it's important.

Here’s another good affirmation for you: “You are a creative center, from which increase is given off to all." What we, for short, call an “affirmation”, is more technically defined as “an affirmation of something that is true. This is not mystic mumbo-jumbo, you are a creative center, from which increase is given off to all. A lot of times, the mentor has the ability to see right through to the truth that is someone's major stumbling block. Lack of self-confidence is so common it's not even funny. Doubt, second-guessing, thinking of the opinions of others.

Affirmations Will Take You Where You Decide You Want To Go

Confidence is an inside job. You've got to have confidence to achieve anything. And by the way, confidence makes you feel powerful yourself, but that message is communicated to others, too. Confidence is the greatest trait of a leader. Confidence makes people popular; confidence makes others want to help. On the other hand, when there's a lack of self confidence—well, who wants to follow a leader like that? Who wants to help someone when they're not even sure that they'll follow through? Confidence. So how do you get it? We talk about meditation, which is a focus thing.

Get Outside Your Comfort Zone

Get outside your comfort zone. Yes, we say that again and again, and yes, you need to hear that again and again—as, by the way, do I. We all have a comfort zone—and even if it expands, we still have a comfort zone. Every desire, dream, and ambition that you have not realized lies outside that comfort zone. Everything that you have is within that comfort zone. And as human animals—really, I say human animals, but pretty much it's the same with all animals, as far as we can observe—you need to exercise your divinity.

Today, let's talk about what I call the obituary exercise. And by the way, I want you to know that I teach this and actually guide people through it at my $50,000 Destiny Creator intensive seminars and events—so it's like major technology. The idea is this. Whatever age you're at, project yourself forward on one strand down the negative path, the way you are now, down the status quo—and on one strand down the path of discipline, the path of the resources, time, work, and effort that you know you need to invest to make things happen.

The Heart, The Mindset Comes First, The Vehicle Next, Then Follows Success

It was one failure after another. I bounced around in any job I could get for years. I yearned to tread the road to riches. But, after years in the work force, I looked up, and still, I was in a job that I didn't like—broke, barely getting by. It was at that time I found the book called Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. And I tore that thing to pieces. I read it seventy-seven times. You know, when people ask about the Law of Attraction, I tell them, "Oh yeah, it's definitely the truth." But what confuses a lot of people is that they picked up on this one law, and somehow believed it was the whole truth. Now, you know better than that. There are myriad laws operating. For instance, there's the Law of Gravity. You can't pick the Law of Gravity and say that the universe operates exclusively according to that law. No, the universe operates according to it and a multitude of other laws.

Live The Examined Life, And Create The Life

It was Henry David Thoreau in the 1800s—the transcendental era of literature, if you're a literature major—who wrote in Walden: "The mass of men live lives of quiet desperation." Of course if he were writing today, he'd say, "The mass of people or persons live lives of quiet desperation." And it was Socrates, who lived in the fourth and fifth centuries B.C., who said, "The unexamined life is not worth living." Our theme today conce s both of these. Not much has changed in all the years that have gone by since. So here's what we find.

Get Mentors To Accelerate Your Success

All my life, I had been a little bit envious of the success that I saw that others clearly had and I didn't have. And of course it was justified in my circles and my family, and we were taught it was good, religiously, to be poor. God loved the poor people but not the rich ones, you know… “It’s easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to get into heaven.” So this is pretty doggone tough, but I wanted it—and I kept sabotaging myself. In other words, I couldn't get outside my comfort zone, which had been established for me at a very low level.
