I am a Registered Nurse who has recognized, repetitively, in my 28-year career, something I previously called “leading by intimidation.” I realized that some managers used identical emotionally abusive tactics. I then came across information on the Inte et about the phenomenon called “work place bullying and mobbing”, which describes in detail exactly what I have been observing. I finally have the answers I had been searching for, which was why my supervisor, then my coworkers, began and continue to emotionally abuse me. Bullies think in ways that are inconceivable to me which lead to an almost obsessive desire to fully understand their ways of thinking. I learned that most people in my state of Connecticut have never even heard of it. This, being an unheard of concept in this country, my expertise is based on the study of thousands of Inte et articles on the subject, and related topics, and interacting with other targets of work place bullying through Inte et support forums. I am also a one of the founding members of Connecticut bullybusters, which is an affiliate of The Workplace Bullying and Trauma Institute, in Bellingham, Washington, USA.

ABC - AntibullyingCrusador is the pseudonym I use when writing about the phenomenon of work place bullying and mobbing. I have chosen the option of continuing my employment where bullying and mobbing is rampant. Now that I have a thorough understanding, I'm using my circumstances as an opportunity to observe, study and document it first hand. I am interested in networking with other anti-bullying activists and educators.

I am one of the founding members of Connecticut Bully Busters an affiliate of The Bullying and Trauma Institute, Bellingham, Washington, USA.. I would be interested in networking with other state Bully Buster organizations. We are having difficulty recruiting members and need ideas to get us off the ground.

Hi,

I like to be called ABC. ABC is the pseudonym I use when I write about the phenomenon of work place bullying and mobbing. It stands for Antibullyingcrusador. I have two websites using this pseudonym, the first is on Yahoo 360 and is continued on AOL Jou als. These are free websites which I hope to develop into something more sophisticated as I develop more stories and ideas in the future. My mission is to educate people in the United States about the phenomenon of work place bullying and mobbing and its devastating affects. Although well known and addressed by legislation in many other countries, few people in the United States have even heard of it. Although people are unfamiliar with the terms "work place bullying and mobbing", most working Americans have experienced or witnessed it sometime in their career.

It is an urgent public health message that all working Americans have a basic understanding of work place bullying and mobbing to save lives. Work place multiple murder/suicide, often referred to as "going postal" and an increasing percentage of adult suicides are often related to the phenomenon of work place bullying and mobbing. Targets often sustain serious emotional injuries due to their lack of understanding of the phenomenon. They often become obsessed searching for the reasons their bosses and coworkers suddenly turn against them not knowing there is no valid reason for the abuse other than the whim of a work place bully. Targets often suffer from Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety and depression, not to mention dozens of stress related physical illnesses.

Content of my website include true stories with the names changed to protect confidentiality. There are over 45 articles about my own experiences, various aspects of the phenomenon including an article about confidentiality, and why I use an alias.

I have chosen the most difficult path. That being to remain employed where I am bullied by my manager in a business culture that accepts these behaviors as the norm. I am planning future articles which will explore options once you've come to the realization that you are a target. I would also like to develop more interactive articles in which readers participate and add to the content.
