In my practice I specialize in the treatment of women. My patients and I work together so that they develop the courage to stand behind their intelligence and creativity, while also enjoying intimate relationships in which they feel loving and vulnerable. The women I see find ways of listening to their voices, figuring out their lives, and embracing their capacity to live fully, whether they're in a relationship or single. To me, the main goal of therapy is the development of inner freedom--freedom to be yourself, to love genuinely, and to do your best and most creative work.
In terms of the therapy itself, the patient's ability to feel safe comes first. In my office I try to maintain an atmosphere of warmth and calm. Together we listen to your words, feelings and perceptions, coming to understand you and help further your goals and dreams as we progress.
