If you've thought about starting your own online business (or have tried in the past but just didn't get anywhere with it), consider visiting MadBeeTech at www.madbeetech.com.
I enjoy catering to the novice (that's why amongst the many computer-related books I've written you'll find many in the hugely popular "For Dummies" series). I created MadBeeTech to act as a one-stop shop for anyone who wants to get an online business, but wants to get their business website up and running without doing any of the programming.
At MadBeeTech you get your own domain name (MyCompanyName.com), web hosting, an integrated shopping cart, and the ability to accept credit card payments without needing to obtain an expensive merchant account. I've included a SiteBuilder - a built-in administration area where you use just "point-and-click" to enter descriptions of your products, upload graphics, and so forth.
With your MadBeeTech website you can sell shippable products and/or downloadable files (digital downloads). You can also optionally include a private members-only area that's accessible to only those who subscribe to it (pay you for access).
