Recently employeed by Sunrise Senior Living and curious about the life of people who find themselves in need of assistance in their day to day activities, I am researching and developing opportunities for these individuals and their families that include improving health and lifestyle situations.

These are a few of the questions I am asking :

1. What events in a persons life create their move to an assisted living facility?
2. What do residents of assisted living facilities really want and can it be achieved through people outside of the family unit?
3. What has the person/s life been like through the various stages of their life?
4. Do people living in assisted living still have hopes and dreams? How can we help them to continue reaching their life long dreams?

Meditation

Meditation offers the “sitter” a unique system of going within, discovering new aspects of Self and coming back to living a peaceful, productive and happy existence. There are many types of meditation and many purposes for using meditation techniques in both a structured system and in a combined system. Meditation is a tool meant to bring you closer to your Divine Mind while existing in your Human Mind and Body. Creating the perfect meditation system for you can be an essential part of your success.

My meditation background is with Edwin C. Steinbrecher's Inner Guide Meditation, The Kriya Yoga Path of Meditation, Gotama Buddha's Vipassana and the Ancient Hawaiian technique of Ho'oPonoPono. I am happy to provide you with additional information on each of these meditations and to guide you in creating your own personal system of meditation. Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

Neuro-Linguistic Programming, NLP, offers individuals techniques for getting at the root of how communication happens between themselves and others.
