Derek Ayre

I have been in practice as a psychotherapist & hypnotherapist from 1976 to 2009 and my main work was involved with helping others realize their goals and improve the quality of their life. I did this in face to face sessions, and in self-development encounter groups. This year (2009) I have decided that it is time to go into semi-retirement but will be keeping my website live to help and support others with free advice based on my experience of the past 30+ years

I am also a Zen practitioner and I have combined the power of Zen with my work using meditation techniques that have provided some powerful results. I "practice what I preach" and I am constantly realizing more and of the inner potential of the subconscious mind - (spiritual growth and development never ends). I am convinced that with a little discipline anyone can use these techniques and achieve a higher level of mastery in life in whatever field they choose.

The potential of the human mind is truly incredible of which it is said, that a genius uses only 12%. My intention is to continue my work with Zen is to assist as many individuals as possible, to achieve a greater level of 'reality' in life.
