Dr. Sybil Ingram is a successful and respected health care, regulatory/compliance and information technology professional with significant experience with Homeland Security/Emergency Preparedness & Planning challenges and solutions. With over twenty years of professional experience, she has been one of the nation's foremost speakers and active consultants for the HIPAA regulations and implementation challenges, addressing all major aspects of the Administrative Simplification Subtitle and affected entities/stakeholders. Dr. Ingram has served as a clinician, clinical researcher and instructor, emergency preparedness and readiness/compliance specialist, I.S. and software product director, risk manager as well as a project manager for multiple national providers of health care services. She has held key positions for health care industry leaders such as HBOC/McKesson, Johnson & Johnson, Abbott Labs, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC). In addition, Dr. Ingram is nationally board certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, a Sr. state representative for the National Family Caregivers Association and is an active member with the Medical Reserve Corp (under the auspices of the US Surgeon General.) She is an inventor and held a patent [pending] with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) . Dr. Ingram has also been recognized with a special commendation by the Department of Health & Human Services.
