Dr Ana is a Communications Specialist with a Master’s degree in Education and Languages from her native Bilbao Teaching University (Spain), a polyglot with qualifications in 4 languages (Spanish, English, Basque and French), SACE Registered (South African Certificate of Education) and currently learning German.
Dr Ana lived in the UK for almost 2 decades and there she attained her Certificate of Management with the British Institute of Management. Dr Ana also became a Reiki Master and a Coach-U CTP graduated Life and Business Coach. She is the author of several books in the field of spirituality, self-help and personal development and as a life skills facilitator and mentor within the field of Integration of Consciousness and Human Potential. Dr Ana is a change agent working on creating cohesive groups through the art of efficient communication.
On her arrival at South Africa, Dr Ana acquired more than a decade of experience as a Languages Teacher in Spain (Basque Government) and Le Lycée Français du Cap, and was one of the 7 founder teachers of S.A.V.S., the first South African Virtual School. Later on, Dr Ana became Head Tutor for Modern Foreign Languages and Director of Teaching and Learning for The Academy Hout Bay, an innovative Montessori based tutoring centre, in which her role was to ensure best practice and raising the effectiveness of the school into excellence.
With a Higher Technical Diploma in E-Learning Training of Tele-trainers (by Euroinnova Formación, Spain), Dr Ana was the architect creator the French and Spanish On-Line Middle-Years, IGCSE and AS programs at The Academy Hout Bay, a Cambridge-curriculum based courses from Beginners to Advanced.
Dr Ana was also an exte al examiner assessor for quality assurance with the School of Languages and Literature at UCT (University of Cape Town), overlooking and supervising exams scripts for undergraduate, graduate, honors and PhD students.
Dr Ana holds the highest qualification of Toastmasters International: a DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster Diploma) in leadership and communication. She also has a Doctoral Degree in Metaphysical Sciences (PhD) specializing in Transpersonal Counselling. Today, Dr Ana is dedicated to help empower individuals in The Art of Effective Communication.
