My name is Emilia Klapp. I was born and raised in Spain. I graduated Cum Laude from California State University of Los Angeles with a Bachelor in Nutrition Science. I am also certified as a Registered Dietitian by the American Dietetic Association.

My company, Preventive Nutrition, was founded in 2006 and it is dedicated to the prevention of chronic diseases.

I firmly believe in preventing desease and not waiting until the harm is done to our bodies. I have dedicated my life to counseling people on the prevention and management of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, weight control, Alzheimer's, as well as many other health conditions. I also conduct classes and seminars on heart disease, diabetes, weight control, Azheimer's, and general preventive nutrition.

I have open a new counseling business in the city of Montebello, California, where I teach people how to prevent and control diabetes.

The patient learns about a lyfestyle that not only revolves about the right nutrion for him but also about cooking, sharing meals and activities with his family, his friends, his co-workers, his community and about how to reduce stress. In sum, a different lyfestyle from his previous one that little by little makes him a healthier and happier person.
