Most women assume they get enough iodine in a day. However, the RDA of 150 mcg is grossly insufficient according to Dr. Flechas, an expert in the field. In Japan, where the average person consumes 13,800 mcg of iodine per day, they have a longer life expectancy and a lower rate of breast cancer.

Estrogen Dominance is a term many women have not heard about. Yet, they should not only have heard about, they should understand it thoroughly. Why? This is how seriously Dr. John Lee, author of the book, ‘What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Breast Cancer, How Hormone Balance Can Help Save Your Life’ feels: “Almost all risk factors associated with breast cancer are directly or indirectly related to excess estrogen, or estrogen that isn’t balanced with progesterone.

For many women, they trust their doctor as the final authority on their health. They look to their doctor as the be-all-and-end-all of wisdom in keeping them well. However, doctors are not for keeping you well. Doctors are there to help you get well ONCE you are sick. Asking a doctor to work with you in prevention would be like asking the contractor building your house about the interior decorating. They just aren’t trained for prevention.

One of the easiest areas to grow your business is to simply follow up on the business and the contacts that you currently have. How many business cards do you have in your file that you have not connected with, that you have never picked up the phone and spoke with personally? A huge part of growing your business is follow-up. How long before you answer an email? How soon do you return phone calls? How many of you are on the phone doing business, tying your child’s shoes, and peeling carrots for dinner all at the same time? Or driving to the appointment, putting on your mascara and talking on the cell phone? Now that’s a scary one! Entrepreneurs, especially women are amazing multi-taskers! We have this inherent ability to do more than one thing at a time, we take this ability very much for granted and we do it almost automatically. It is a wonderful characteristic and

How to get started

Part of the message of The Breast Health Revolution is let’s love our breasts. Rather than think they are too small, too big, too droopy, lopsided or any other negative emotion, I’m encouraging women to love their breasts. If we want them to stay with us till the end, they need to feel loved. That means more than just a cursory glance in the mirror or dragging ourselves to the doctor for a clinical breast exam once a year.

So wouldn’t it be healthier and more logical to have a day each month when we specifically spend some time with our breasts. The 22nd of each month is the 22 campaign when women all over the world will be encouraged to love their breasts. That may mean doing a lymphatic massage (a 5 minute massage that will get rid of any breast pain), a breast self exam and with the Breast Chek Kit, it is so much easier to do, to have a look at their breasts naked in the mirror and tell them how much they are loved or massage a beautiful cream specifically designed for their breasts into them while affirming positive healing thoughts.

On the 22nd of each month, each women participating in the 22 campaign will receive an email reminding them of the day, and will include a cartoon, a poem, a picture, video or something positive to encourage them to take a few minutes out of their day to bless their breasts.

This message of love, rather than judgment is designed to help women get in touch with this most precious part of their body and to let go of the harsh criticism and negative emotions many women feel about their breasts. In working with hundreds of clients who have been sexually abused, many negative emotions are stored in the breasts and this is one way I can help women to let go of those negative emotions and replace them with love, caring and tende ess.
