I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, CA License MFC 45633. I have a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Califo ia State University East Bay. Irncompleted a five year Marriage and Family Therapy internship atr Anthropos Counseling Center in Livermore. I find that parenting three children has enriched my training and education with the wisdom and perspective that life experience brings.

Myrntherapy approach borrows from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as a variety of other theories. I am flexible and collaborative in determining what works best for each client as an individual. My therapy style reflects my belief that the most important ingredients in therapy are warmth, acceptance, respect and at least a dash of humor.

I find deep satisfaction inrnmy work as a therapist. It is an honor to get to know and appreciate each client.

How to get started

If you are ready to get your life back on track, finding the right therapist is an important step.

I can help by:

  • First and most importantly, I provide a safe and encouraging place where you can explore who you really are and what you really feel and
think with the respect you deserve and without conce of being judged.

  • Together, we develop the picture of what improvement in your life will look like and we determine steps to move towards those goals,
keeping it practical and realistic for you.

  • I help you recognize your own strengths and abilities and I guide and encourage you as you use them to get more of what you want in life.

  • I help you identify patterns that rule your life, situations that you find yourself repeating again and again that you might not want to do anymore.

  • I help you see what you do or what you believe that works against what you really want. Maybe you are carrying beliefs about yourself that are
not fair or helpful to you. Maybe it’s time to receive the support to stand up to those beliefs!

  • If your family or a family member is in distress we can determine the path to a more peaceful and satisfying home life for all family members.
