Jeffrey Kirk has resettled refugees since 2001, working with his wife, his church, and Lutheran Social Services as the sponsoring agency. Jeff's team has directly resettled 8 families and has also helped to assist and educate volunteers at other churches.

One of the primary conce s for new volunteers is their own lack of understanding of what's next. This book is meant to fill that gap so that every resettlement team will have a basis for what to do and how to succeed, helping a newly arrived refugee family make the transition from refugee camp life to becoming contributing member of our society.
