Business Owner, CEO SureFireWealth Inc, Founding Director MemberSpeed Inc

Jeremy has been around business all of his life and grew up in an entrepreneurial family. His father has had his own business for over twenty-five years and Jeremy assisted with the day to day operations of the family business while he was growing up. This environment helped Jeremy to decide to take the path to financial independence as a self-employed/business owner rather than work for someone else his entire life.

Jeremy traveled overseas a great deal, especially throughout asia in the early 90's and eventually decided to settle down in Japan. He and his wife both quit their 'regular' jobs in the spring of 1997 to fullfill their dreams of running their own business. Through hard work, determination and faith they were successful and their business saw continual growth despite a recession in the Japanese economy since then.

Since then Jeremy has started 3 successful companies with over 12 years of in the trenches experience teaching and helping others in life and business.

Developed a very popular and robust membership and ecommerce software system with his partner at MemberSpeed.com which is used by thousands of membership site owners online today.

Owns and operates over a dozen profitable Membership Sites with over 100,000 members.

Has taught over 20,000 business owners how to build, manage and market their membership sites at MembershipMillionaire.com.

Several strategic partnerships over the years have helped to form very powerful mastermind alliances and are a perfect example for Jeremy's new Mindmap to Riches series of success books.

As a business owner, it's imperative to stay healthy both physically and mentally. If you’re a planner and think ahead, you may have systems in place which can handle your business during your absences. However, illnesses wear away at your vitality and your passion for your business. When that happens, regardless of the systems you have in place, business and profits suffer. Now we're not just talking about the costly effects of getting sick – and it is costly.

Have you ever noticed that thought and attitude are contagious? For example, let's say you take a vacation to Jamaica. The laidback nature of the people, the culture, is more than just a vacation phenomenon. If you were a fly on the wall, i.e. not on vacation but simply spying on the locals, you'd notice that they’re significantly more laid back than say your average Manhattan inhabitant. If you live in an environment which is very religious, chances are that religion even if it has never been on your radar or part of your upbringing, will become part of your life.

Are you grateful for everything you have? Consider this, whether you have a million dollars in the bank or a hundred – if you have a roof over your head, food on your table and the comfort of friends and family, you’re rich. Millions around the world live a bare bones existence and the pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness takes a backseat to survival.

“Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can go.” T.S. Eliot Entrepreneurs are known for being risk takers. It takes guts to break free from the notion of trading your hours for dollars and making someone else rich in the process. Starting a business doesn't guarantee you a set amount of money for your time, or any money for that matter. But those with the entrepreneurial spirit are willing to take a chance in order to get what they want out of life. But even among those who have taken the plunge, there are varying degrees of tolerance for risk.

Becoming an entrepreneur has many benefits. It allows us to make a living doing something we enjoy. It gives us more freedom and flexibility than working for someone else. And it allows for unlimited earning potential. And yet many entrepreneurs have second thoughts about the path they're taking. Why? It's usually because they are experiencing burnout. Burnout is something that can happen to anyone in any profession, whether they're working for themselves, for a small business or for a large corporation.

Making the Law of Attraction Work for You “Whatever you create in your life you must first create in your imagination.” Tycho Photiou In recent months, the economy has been on everyone's mind. There are few people and companies who have experienced no ill effects from the economic downturn. With all of the doom and gloom that's going around, it's easy to see why many of us feel hopeless and downtrodden. Still, there are people who are flourishing despite all of the negative news.

The dictionary defines wealth as: 1. [n] - the state of being rich and affluent 2. [n] - an abundance of material possessions and resources 3. [n] - property that has economic utility: a monetary value or an exchange value 4. [n] - the quality of profuse abundance None of those definitions sound too bad, right? The quality of profuse abundance - I like that definition! However, wealth as it is defined in the dictionary is only a small aspect of such a grand and often controversial word. The definition of wealth can be quite divisive.

Business owners and entrepreneurs often tap into the law of reciprocity without knowing it. They're inherently pre-programmed to participate in the worldwide truth of give and receive. While there are those out there in this world who take take take, the vast majority of us swing to the other side of the scale and give give give. Ever heard the quote – it's better to give than receive? Sure you have! Not sure if it's true because invariably when you give you do receive - it's the law of reciprocity.

“Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.”rn-Norman Vincent Peale In business and in life, confidence is a very important trait. It can help us get a new job, win over a new client, and build relationships with new business partners. For some, confidence comes naturally. They walk with their heads held high and make decisions with ease. They go into every situation with an optimistic outlook, and even if things don’t turn out quite as they hoped, they keep looking forward.

Favorite Quotes & Thoughts from Jeremy Gislason

Jeremy says, "Doing business in Japan has really opened my eyes to customer service and the way people should be treated. Japanese have the utmost respect for customers, as should all businesses. There is a saying in Japanese - "Okyakusama wa kami sama desu", which literally means "Customers are Gods". If you think about this, it is very true as without customers, we'd have no business. Take care of your customers and they'll take care of you by remaining loyal lifelong customers and recommend your business to their friends and family."
