Laura Ramirez is the author of the award-winning book, Keepers of the Children: Native American Wisdom and Parenting which teaches parents how to raise children to develop their strengths and lead a life that is an expression of those strengths. She uses Native American concepts such as stewardship, good medicine and nature to teach parents how to create a relationship with their children that is based on love and mutual respect.

Although she uses native ideas in her work, it is applicable to any parent who is interested in ideas that are nurturing and resourceful.

Laura has a degree in psychology, has authored hundreds of articles on parenting and relationships, is the publisher of Family Matters Parenting Magazine and has given seminars and keynote speeches around the world. She is available for media interviews and speaking engagements.
