In the mid-80’s I started out in hospital and community mental health and grassroots agencies where I offered both individual as well as group therapy - primarily art therapy but some “talk” psychotherapy too. The experience of working in larger settings and private practice has connected me to people from many backgrounds with diverse kinds of problems. My work experience is a true reflection of my deep and genuine interest in people, and what makes each of us “tick”.
Education
My master's degree (M.C.A.T.) is from Hahnemann University, in Philadelphia, PA, where I graduated in 1984. I am also a graduate of the Institute for the Advancement of Self Psychology’s two-year psychoanalytic psychotherapy program. I continue my education via reading, peer consultation, and attending workshops and conferences.
