Mary Cullen

Mary is president and founder of Instructional Solutions.

Prior to founding Instructional Solutions in 1998, Mary taught writing at Endicott College, Boston College and the University of Massachusetts college system. She specializes in business writing, composition and hypertext writing. Her work has focused on developing alte ative methods of study beyond the traditional classroom-based model, focusing on computer-based writing and non-linear writing.

She pioneered the first online writing courses, and has developed hundreds of customized writing courses for corporate clients using hypertext, multi-media, MOO'S, and many proprietary learning management systems. She is a frequent speaker on business writing protocol and rneLea ing.

Mary holds a C.A.G.S in Composition and Rhetoric from the University of New Hampshire, a M.A in English Literature from Boston College, and a B.A. from the University of Rhode Island in English and European Cultural History, with a minor in Management.
