Melissa Goerke Quick Facts
Kind of strange to call yourself a Happiness Expert, but I'm not the one who originally gave myself the title. Over the years co-workers, family and friends have commented on my consistently happy demeanor. I am always cheerful, upbeat and friendly. It is very hard to tell if I am having a "bad day" or not.
You could argue that this has always been the case, but I could tell your stories from my past that would curl your hair!
Suffice it to say, that depression, anxiety and rage were my close partners for the first half of my life. They often made me sullen, withdrawn and exhausted. Eventually I made the decision that I didn't want to live that way anymore. I decided to be happy.
I won't lie and say it can happen ove ight, but I have learned so many different ways to be happy and to find happiness in the simple things. So today I am a generally cheerful and happy person filled with energy and a zest for life.
If you long to move beyond the fatigue of depression and sadness or even just boredom with everyday life, know that it is possible and that I am here to help you find the way.
