Mike Ross is a certified personal trainer with a degree in Fitness Management. His mission is to use knowledge collected from a variety of sources and apply it in a new way that benefits the lives of people over the age of 60. His new book, "The Balance Manual - How to Improve Stability and Prevent Falls with Simple Exercises" is a result of that mission. The Balance Manual shows seniors how to prevent falls with balance exercises that can be done at home with no equipment in just ten minutes a day.

As an exercise physiologist at a hospital-based fitness center, Mike trains seniors one-on-one and in groups, in different areas of senior fitness like balance training, agility, strength, quickness, coordination, and heart health. His class, "Better Balance for Seniors," focuses on balance exercises and fall prevention.
