Susan Farber is a licensed Marriage, Famly, Therapist in private practice. In 1989, she earned her B.A. at the University of Califo ia, Santa Barbara, and then MA at Antioch University, Santa Barbara, in 1993. Ms. Farber utilizes cognitive/behavioral therapy to help clients become aware of negative core beliefs and thoughts that limit their life experience and ability to achieve fulfillment. She also utilizes a mind/body approach and encourages clients to examine the impact of denied emotions, tension, and stress on the development and maintenance of physical ailments. Ms. Farber teaches clients to use their body as a barometer to gain valuable insight into their psyche. When a client takes responsibility and ownership for their emotionsl selves, a sense of empowerment emerges enabling them to move forward in making positive changes and life affirming decisions.
