Susan Tracy, M.Ed., has amassed twenty years of observation data, noting the details of human behavior, in particular the interactions between parents and children. Although she has degrees from Northweste University and Loyola College, along with Montessori certifications, she insists that her true education has been through the observation of children, her own four, and hundreds of others. It is Susan’s mission to educate adults about the nature and needs of children. Through her organization, Learning Together (www.LTPEC.org), she runs parent workshops, provides parent coaching, and educates teachers across the United States and in Europe. She is a consultant to schools and social work organizations, and speaks and writes for several professional groups. Recently, Susan helped open a Montessori school in a homeless shelter, and she is training some of the mothers there to work as classroom assistants and nannies. Susan finds the issues facing families to be conce ing, yet takes delight in the discoveries that children make every day. Susan shares a wealth of amusing anecdotes and unique observations with audiences large and small.
