I am a licensed psychotherapist, certified massage therapist and intuitive energy healer from Los Angeles, Califo
ia where I spent the majority of my life before traveling the world and moving to France where I now reside permanently. I am also the co-founder of an association called Lotus Village dedicated to physical and emotional health, environmental awareness and responsible living. Having felt a calling to help people from a young age, I’ve also worked throughout my life in the non-profit sector with different types of people, issues, ages and backgrounds as a therapist, clinical supervisor and clinical director.
My own personal transformation began years ago when I started to really follow my instinct and to make some major life changes. At the same time, I also began a long process of deep introspection, healing and exploration which led me to learn about different types of therapeutic work that connected the mind and body. Having utilized and experienced traditional talk-therapy, although an important tool, I was always left feeling that it only helped so much and as if there had to be something more. Frustrated yet determined, I began exploring and experimenting with different types of therapy and I realized that the reaso
I felt traditional therapy was limited was because it focused solely on the mind while ignoring all the unexpressed emotions and negative energy held in the body. Once I incorporated energy healing, hypnosis, meditation, visualization and other techniques, I noticed faster and more profound progress that didn’t take years to achieve. From these experiences I also learned valuable tools and techniques to incorporate into my daily life that continue to significantly improve the quality of my physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Still wanting to further expand my own development as a person and a therapist l also spent two years on a world trip through India, Thailand, Bali, Cambodia, South Africa and eventually France, engaging not only in travel, but meditation, volunteer work, and living abroad. I was blessed to experience a variety cultures, religions, belief-systems and healing modalities that have helped me to further evolve and for which I will always be grateful.
As a therapist and healer, my own development and transformation is highly important to me and critical to the work I do. Only when we have examined ourselves, can we effectively assist others in the same process. As such, I have always seen life as an endless opportunity for growth, personal development and evolution. Waking up from an unconscious life to a conscious one means knowing and understanding who we are and the decisions we make. True healing comes from awareness and learning to follow your instinct and your deepest wishes. I believe everything is possible when you are open to the possibilities of your life and willing to take risks, no matter how small. And the beauty of it all is that each day is a new opportunity for this to take place. Regardless of what stage of life you are in, these opportunities are always there waiting for you.

Addicted To Our Thoughts?
We are all aware of drug addictions, alcohol addictions, gambling addictions, etc., but most people never think about another very powerful and lesser known addiction—which is to our thoughts. I am not referring to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, which is a clinically diagnosable disorder involving repetitive and intrusive thoughts and/or behaviors. What I’m referring to is something more subtle and common that I would guess affects a high percentage of the American population.

What's Your Suggestibilty? Knowing Your Personal Style of Communication and How You Process Information
Suggestibility is a term that can be used to describe how much you are influenced by something or someone. However, another explanation was developed by psychotherapist and hypnosis expert, John Kappas, PhD, who believed your suggestibility is also about how you receive and process information as well as communicate. This may seem unimportant, but actually it's helpful for most people to be aware of how they process information and communicate as it allows one to be more successful in relationships, work situations and any interaction with people.
