Do You Know How Often You’re a Subject of Hypnosis?

How many times have you been hypnotized, today?

Well - much more often than you think! "I would like you to concentrate on any fixed point in this room you like, and while you do it you may realize your eyelids are starting to close..."

That is what the majority of people will picture in their heads when they will hear the word "hypnosis". And that is absolutely correct. One of the steps in process of hypnotizing, is brain relaxation. We do it because it greatly increases receptivity of brain for suggestions. Although it produces a lot of controversy, hypnosis is well known and had been used for thousands of years, I think it proves its effectiveness.

Hypnotic language of persuasion, however, is something else. After all, no one wants clients to fall asleep during business presentation! By hypnotic language, I mean words and sentences, which are irresistible. I mean writing and speech that is so interesting that your reader or listener will forget about the outside world, suddenly every problem you are concerned with is becoming insignificant, the only thing that matters is reading. You will not only be listened to, people you're talking or writing to will act exactly the way you want them to.

I guess in business you would prefer that, rather than making your clients fall asleep.

I am 100% sure that at least once in your lifetime you have stumbled upon a text or a person that was so interesting you are unable to stop reading or listening While you were doing something very entertaining, have you ever stopped paying any attention to time passing by? Or maybe someone said something to you at that time and you couldn’t recall what was that? You were so absorbed by reading or listening, that everything else didn’t matter?

A good book can hypnotize you. Interesting story can hypnotize you.

And when was the last time you were hypnotized by a commercial? I bet you can’t come up with one at the moment, it’s because most of the time commercials are boring rather than attention grabbing.

But imagine what would it be like if you could use your language in a way that would hypnotize your listeners, make them remember exactly what you’ve said and even more importantly would make them do what ever you suggested them to do!

Completely useless stuff, don’t you think? It would make no sense in selling, politics or negotiations. Who needs it!?

We very often experienced trance in our lifes, but majority of people do not notice it. A good example of situations in which you experience hypnotic trance is driving their car. Have you ever driven a car and after getting from point A to B had no recollection of what happened in between? Or when you are reading something fascinating and you just can not break - you are also in a trance.

What about group hypnosis? Do political party and religious leaders put us into trance? I wouldn't like to make you nervous, but numerous studies show it is much easier to control people in group gatherings.

However the issue of conformity is not enough to excuse group behavior. We can do many things we would never do alone under the influence of others, it is absolutely normal behavior that has roots in human evolution. I would like to ask you a simple question: "have you ever modified your decision, under the pressure of other people?

Hypnosis is all around us, we are hypnotized by movies, newspapers, music, we even hypnotize ourselves. It is happening whether you want it or no and regardless of whether you believe it.

I know there are probably hundreds of thoughts rushing through your head right now, but wonder for a moment can you benefit from this phenomenon? Maybe it's exactly what you need to achieve success?

Do you start to realize how you can easily turn resistant customers to hottest fans of your product/service who are eager to make a purchase?
