Feng Shui Colors and Your Health

If you’ve ever had a friend who said they always got sick, you might have noticed they were right. No matter how often they washed their hands or exercised, they seemed to get sick. But why is this? This person was attracting the energy of sickness to themselves just by saying that they always get sick. If they talked about being healthy, then they would have remained healthy. In the practice of Feng Shui, when you place certain things around you, you attract healthy energy. Here are some tips to pass onto your friend – and use for yourself.

Healthy in your Office

Since you generally spend a lot of time in the office, you will want to ensure you are using Feng Shui here to help with health conce
s. The first thing you will want to do is to make sure you are using colors that are bright and that attract positive energy. Red is good for luck, but yellow is good for positivity. Green is another color that is associated with growth and well-being, so that’s an option for your office as well. If you can’t paint the walls then add colorful accessories to add color.

In terms of other Feng Shui tips, you might want to position your desk so that you can see your door when sitting down as this allows for a better flow of energy in the room. With your desk facing the entrance you are always protected. Finally, you will want to make sure you keep your office free of clutter as a cluttered office is more likely to hang onto stagnant energy, which then can lead to illness.

Healthy in the Bedroom

Many people underestimated the importance of quality rest in regards to health. Since we spend 1/3 of our lives in the bedroom this is the best place to begin with Feng Shui when it comes to creating health.

As many people are able to work from home these days, it seems like the bedroom has become a place to comfortably type on your work laptop. If you want to attract health to your life, you need to keep your office in a separate location from your bedroom. The bedroom is meant for rest and communication with your partner not business.

To further attract healthy energy, try using Feng Shui colors like browns, whites, and other muted tones. This will keep the energy from being too intense, which can upset the immune system.

Also, keep the bedroom light during the day, but as dark as possible at night to keep the energy up in the day and lower when you want to sleep (which is good for your health too).

Weather permitting, as often as possible open the windows in the bedroom to clear out any stagnant chi energy. This will also keep the chi energy flowing for health.

With Feng Shui, you might not be able to avoid sick days, but you will notice you feel healthier more often. And that’s a good feeling.

Recovery has turned out to be one of the most misunderstood aspects of an active lifestyle. It is very easy to measure a training plan. It is very easy to compare progress with photographs. It is very easy to feel pain. It is not so easy to feel healing. It is not so easy to feel healing when it is happening on multiple levels below the surface of our awareness, when we’re already trying to move on to the next session, the next run, or the next challenging week.
