Islam is the most practised religion in the world. Muslims are present in almost every region of the world and practice its teaching in their daily day life. As it is the psychology of every Muslim to know about their religion and the things by which they can get virtue. As the fasting is the fourth pillar of Islam and fasting is the most sacred duty to a person. So it is the question asked by the many Muslims that when we can do fasting other the month of Ramadan or when the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) used to do fasting? Other the month of Ramadan. So today I came here to throw some light on it. And give you an answer about the fast other than the month of Ramadan. Well, there is not any confined days of fasting you can do fasting at any time you want. Fasting is just obligated in the month of Ramadan. But Allah and his Prophet (P.B.U.H) preferred fasting on some of the days they are as follows, Other than the month of Ramadan: • The six days of Shawl after Eid is liked by Allah and his messenger ones about its significance the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) said as follow, “Fasting after Eid on the first six days of Shawl consecutively is like fasting for the entire month.” • Fasting in the month of Shaban. The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) used to fast in the month of Shaban frequently and describe importance of fasting as follow, “It is the month when Allah change the fate of the peoples and prepare a death list and I want when death comes to me I should be in the state of Fasting.” • Fasting on the 9 and 10 of Mahram. To do fasting in the 9 and 10 of Mahram has the great significance ones the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) says as follow, “We are more close to Musa then they are so you must do fasting on the day of 9 and 10 of Mahram.” • Fasting in the first 10 days of Dhul-Hajj also has the great importance and significance. Because it is the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). • Fasting on the 3 days of every Lunar was also the one of the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) rnThese are the days of fasting other than the fasting in the month of Ramadan. When people go to the Hajj and Umrah they used to do fasting and fulfil the aspects of the Hajj and Umrah to get the more virtue and high rewards.
