To learn by studying the Bhagavad Gita means first of all, we ought to rightly understand what Lord Krishna is trying to say herein. In particular, the incident which took place between Lord Krishna and Arjuna during the great war of Mahabharat. Bhagavad Gita The Bhagavad Gita is the holy scripture, which is a narrative of the incident where Lord Krishna unveiled the ultimate science of the universe to Arjuna. During this incident, when Lord Krishna revealed the science of Self-realization to Arjuna, Arjuna attained the experience of a liberated state. “The experience of the liberated state occurs from the moment ignorance of the Self (Agnan) leaves. There is bondage through ignorance. Ignorance of what? One is ignorant about one’s Self. Lord Krishna has referred to this as the subtlest Science. When one is not able to understand even at the subtle level, how is one going to understand at the subtler and the subtlest levels?” says Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, the Enlightened being. The essence of 'The Gita' Before the great war of the Mahabharata, Lord Krishna said to Arjun, "Arjun, you have been with me for a long time, but still you haven't known me in the true sense. What you see in front of you is not the real me; what you see is the physical body. I am separate from this body. I am a Pure Soul. You too are a Pure Soul. Your brothers, uncles, gurus and friends with whom you are about to fight, are also pure Souls. This (fighting) is your destiny (karma), so you have to carry it out with this awareness of the Soul. If you remain in this awareness and fight the war, you will not bind any new karmas and your remaining ones will be exhausted. This will lead you to ultimate salvation." To do devotional viewing of the Great One (Viraat Purush) means to recognize the Enlightened One. In reality, who can be called a true Viraat? One who can devour our ego. He who annihilates our ego to pieces is called a Viraat! And what is the result of that? He also transforms us into a Viraat! Arjuna surrendered to Krishna Bhagwan after Krishna Bhagwan showed Arjuna His Viraat Swaroop! Thereafter, Arjun remained in the awareness that Shri Krishna had given him. He killed many great men in the war of Mahabharat, yet he did not bind a single karma and achieved ultimate salvation in the same life. Lord Krishna has said, “It is extremely difficult to find the path of liberation, but if one were to meet the Enlightened One (Gnani Purush), then it becomes easier than even making khichdee (a dish that is very easy to prepare).” The knowledge that Lord Krishna gave to Arjun verily is what today, the Enlightened Being on the Akram Vignan path gives to the world. Gnani Purush (the Enlightened One) destroys our deluding karma and gives us the right vision that gets permanently established within us so that we start seeing the Self (the Pure Soul) in everyone (Atmavat Sarva Bhuteshu)! He gives us the same awareness of the Self! Thus, we directly come into the religion of the real Self i.e. the Soul, as expounded by Yogeshwar Lord Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita, while the body fulfills the duties (the relative religion) in the materialistic world. Thus, the key message that Lord Krishna has conveyed in the Bhagavad Gita is to realize the real Self, the pure Soul. Today, even in this Kaliyuga, we can realize the Self by going to Akram Gnani, the Enlightened One, and with His grace, attain Self-Realization in a matter of just two hours. The science of karma It is simply the science of cause & effect Karmas are the actions (causes) and the fruits of karma are its reactions (effects). The rules of karma are such that when you create karma, the resultant effect comes naturally and automatically. The resultant effect is something one has to go through; one simply cannot avoid it. Everyone, including the Enlightened beings, have to suffer on that account. For instance, a celestial deity happened to harass Lord Ma
