As being a Human it’s our psychology to get to know more about our religion, and people related to the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H), and events which occurred in the Islam. It is the most commonly asked question of the people about the importance of Roza in the month of Shaban. Well, it has the great importance to do fasting in the month of Shaban. So today I came here to throw some light on this. The fasting in the month of Shaban is to honour the months of Ramadan. No doubt it has the great importance and significance as defined by the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) as follow, In the Light of Hadiths: As we all know that Shaban is the eight month in the Islam and in this month we find the particular Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) used to do fast mostly in this month except for the last two days. It has been reported that ones the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) said as follow, “Rajab is the month of Allah, Shaban is my month and Ramadan is the month of Nation.” It has been reported by the Usama bin Zaid that ones I said the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) as follows, “I have never seen you fasting frequently other than the month of Shaban and Ramadan. Why is that so?” rnFor this, the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) said as follow, “It is the month between Rajab and Ramadan. Many people neglect this month but it is the month when the accounts of a people are presented to Allah and I wanted that when my account will be presenting I must be in the state of Fasting.” It has been reported that one’s a companion of the Prophet (P.B.U.H) asked him as follow, “Is Shaban your favourite month for Fasting? rnThen the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) replied as follow, “It is the month when Allah change the fate of the peoples and prepare a death list and I want when death comes to me I should be in the state of Fasting.” rnAs we can see from the above verses that Shaban is the month which have the great importance. Because this is the month when Allah changes the fate, make a death list and accounts of people are presented to Allah so we should fast, and perform sacred duties in this month so that we may enjoy the blessings of Allah Almighty and we must go for Umrah in this month to have more benefits. Nowadays going to Hajj and Umrah is much cheaper and easy so book Umrah visa for March and enjoy the blessing of the month of the prophet in the house of Allah.
