A job interview can be a daunting experience. One of the big challenges is to come across as being confident even though you are very nervous. For most of us there is a lot on the line when we go for that job interview and if it’s that dream job then it’s really important that you put your best foot forward and show them what you are made off. Interviews need not be such a nerve wrecking experience. By following some basic tips you can be calm, confident and completely in control. Lets quickly look at 3 important things that you need to keep in mind at all times. During your interview you will have a chance to either ask a question or speak extemporaneously. Use this time to show your interviewer you have a good idea of what the company is about and most importantly how the money is made. If a company is bringing in new employees it's generally to help the company make more money. Study the interviewer what he is expecting from you. This one will be your little secret. Learning things about you interviewer can prevent you from making comments or references that can become awkward. You can also make references to things or idea that strike a chord with your interviewer. Before you can prove you are perfect for the job, you need to understand the employer’s needs. • What do they want? • Why are they asking me this? • What do they mean? • How can I prove I'm the best?rnYou don't want to make it obvious that you researched your interviewer as you were searching for your online job. Nevertheless, competition for jobs, especially through online job postings will be fierce. Any little advantage could be the difference between success and resuming your online job search.rnThere must be things about you that the employer views as a positive for job you're applying to or else you wouldn't be in the interview. Don't ruin that impression by trying to be someone you're not. Be yourself. Play up your strengths and be honest about your weaknesses, (but not too honest). Let the person they saw on the resume shine through. The reason you are being interviewed, is because the company wants to hire someone. A little bit of preparation, and a lot of confidence can make you that someone. Now go get that big job.rnConfident, well-prepared and ready to answer any question your interviewer asks while effortlessly rattling off perfect answers that leave your interviewer with an outstanding impression of you and your abilities. Similar to the advantages of studying your potential employer, studying the potential employers industry can give you the leg up you need in your work search. Offering insights or quoting recent statistics about the industry can show a potential employer that you're serious about landing the job.
