Pranic Healing is one of the many energy healing modalities that are available throughout the modern world. It is a non-touch modality, unlike the energy healing of Reiki, which tends to have a more ‘hands-on‘ technique. Instead, Pranic Healing works with the inner aura and the outer aura as well as the health rays contained within the health aura. (Refer Miracles Through Pranic Healing Book - Master Choa Kok Sui)
Master Choa Kok Sui (MCKS) (1952-2007), a Filipino-Chinese spiritual teacher, was the Founder of Pranic Healing. The techniques that MCKS developed are very simple at the basic level and the great advantage about pranic healing is that it is simple to learn and on completion of only the basic course, a person can use the techniques to effect a change in their life, as well as in those around them.
Pranic healing uses Prana, one of the seven principles of man, to balance, harmonize and transform the body's energy processes. Prana is a Sanskrit word that means life-force and, in Theosophical teachings, is referred to as the 3rd of the Principles that makes up a person’s ‘persona’. This invisible life-force or vital energy keeps the body alive and maintains a state of good health.
As with many deeper teachings, the secrets of Pranic Healing used, in the past, to be revealed to only a select few. Nowadays, thanks to the teachings of MCKS, anyone can practice Pranic Healing. It is amazing how the knowledge of being able to deal with simple ailments can change a person’s views on how they live their life.
MCKS based His teachings on the fundamental principle that the body is a self-repairing entity that possesses the innate ability to heal itself. Pranic Healing works on the principle that the healing process is accelerated by increasing the life force or vital energy on the affected part of the physical body.
Pranic Healing is applied to the aura, or energy body, which is the etheric double, mould or blueprint that surrounds and interpenetrates every person’s physical body. This etheric double/energy body absorbs the prana/life energy and distributes it throughout the physical body, to all the organs, muscles, blood etc. It works first with the energy body - as it is believed that physical ailments manifest first in the energy body before becoming symptomatic in the physical body. So, by working with the ‘energy/thought form’ that may cause the ailment - the pranic healer is working with the ‘cause’ of the ailment before it becomes an ‘effect’ in your life.
This healing modality is easy to do and you can easily learn to perform Pranic Healing on yourself and your loved ones.
