***Psychics Find Turning Points in your Life that Reframe Your Reality

Everything is going swell, and I am really, really happy. And here are tears on my cheeks, some psychic pain. I ask my body 'What's up?' and it replies it is deeply sad. At that moment, I would attach that sad feeling to what is going on around me, and conclude my job is depressing. But I know my body chemistry is out of whack: The doctor told me my estrogen level is 800 times normal. Is it that knowledge that leads me to delve into the experience? - because I am catching a potential reframing of my reality in progress! Some eureka realizations hit me that that never leave me:

***Confidence is a Tangible Asset Worth Its Price

Confidence is a Tangible Asset Worth its Price We face some challenge. We mentally list what our resources are to deal with it. 'I have the time. I have the money. I have the skill.' we say to ourselves, listing our ammo. Confidence does not show up as one of those tangible assets in our list. But what is it within us that gathers all these resources together in sync to accomplish our purpose?

***The Placebo Effect: Claim It

The laws of random distribution are not some theory; they are principles written in the same stone as the laws of physics. Actuaries, persons who calculate chances of things for a living (Really!), base your insurance premiums on the FACT that, when there is a hazard that could cause a disaster, the disaster actually happens only once in ten or eleven times. Risk management applies the same principle with an eye to preventing the disaster. This placebo effect is always there, reliably operating in the background.

***Putting up with Torina the Terrible

What Was in it for Him? Everyone wondered how this sweet-natured good-looking man put up with Torina the Terrible. Torina owned this huge clubhouse on the golf course with its restaurant and bar, spa and the works. She reminded me of Catherine the Great – same dull and powerful look, same bombastic overbearing personality, and the voice of a drill sergeant, to complete the picture.

***Reading Tarot as a Business, Choosing Clients, Client Relations for the Sensitive Entrepreneur

Accepting whatever client happens when beginning a service business as an entrepreneur is normal. It can be a ruinous detour as a regular practice, though; and you may not be aware of the illfated turn at the time it happens. Example: I opened a court reporting office without directly soliciting any clients first. One of my first clients was a very busy law office run by an unethical man and his unethical wife. He had more than enough business to keep me busy without any other clients.

***Success: The First Step; How George Got Out of the Ghetto

Success: The First Step, How George got out of the Ghetto Here is this book that was old in l959. George Washington Carver (the renowned head professor of the Agriculture Department at Tuskegee University; researcher into, and promoter of, alte ative crops to cotton in the Reconstruction South; a man openly praised by President Theodore Roosevelt) was born a slave, and was a sickly child to boot. In the book, he is being interviewed as to what started him on his path from that ghetto predicament to being the famous scientist and entrepreneur.

***Reading Tarot as a Business, the Sensitive Entrepreneur's Daily Practices

Levels of skill in reading Tarot, or skill in other types of psychic insight, seldom lead to successful business ownership. In the first sister article to this one, the steps in developing the skill of reading Tarot are described, and some reasons that skilled professionals don't go into business for themselves are explained. (That article is 'Reading Tarot as a Business—Levels of Skill Seldom Lead to Successful Business Ownership.')

***Turning Points in a Sparrow Life and Yours

Turning Points in a Sparrow Life and Yours All the sparrows abandoned those many nests inside the peafowl pen (where all the bird food is!) sandwiched between the metal roof and the wood slats of a horse carrier that fit over a truck bed. Snow is on the ground; it is early May. I am hardly ever here; I come to inspect the cleanliness of the feeders, at dusk. A frog is in the dirt. I pick it up. It has a beak; it is a baby bird! A tiny neonate. It will be three or four days before its eyes are open; it has no feather tracks. Omigod!

***Wealth and Success: Your Individual Path There

Wealth and Success: Your Individual Path There Be very aware that making wealth and keeping wealth are not the same thing. People who are successes are doing both. This is like the difference between marrying Mr. Right, and marrying Mr. Right with the right relationship for you. Half a loaf is better than none, but... First, how not to.

***Overcoming Fear and Hearing Voices with Oedipus

Overcoming Fear and Hearing Voices with Oedipus When I was a kid I used to chat with adults waiting for the bus on bus benches. Taking opinion polls with this captive audience in the summer in south Florida in the Fifties was easy. People will tell a kid anything when there's absolutely nothing else to do and nobody is looking. I learned poor people are all for any revolution if they don't have to do anything themselves.

***Meditation that is Comfortable For You and Relevant to You

Meditation that is Comfortable For You and Relevant to You Do you find the whole meditation thing intimidating? OK, I admit it: I do. Sitting cross-legged on an oriental cushion is, hmmm, unamerican? It's something. It's uncomfortable in more than one way. It's something that is 'not me.' There. I said it. So let's dismiss that concept. Maybe later. Let's get down to our own basic physical reality.

Faith - It's not about Religion, It's about Reality Testing

Spiritual life is real life. It's who you really are - even who you are when you aren't living physically anymore. In a sense, what you are is your beliefs, your values. Seekers of actionable and factual information, however, are inundated by theory, propaganda and religious politics. It's so hard to know where to start in spirituality that some of us don't start. Which is a bad thing. You have to start with what YOU really believe, not what you are led to believe you believe, or what you assume you believe, or what your social circle believes. There's a real 'you' under the surface.

December 21, 2012, Doomsday or Ascension Day, Whatever

December 21, 2012, Doomsday or Ascension Day, Whatever Breaking my custom, today on my blog, I ask a question, "Tell us all about this doomsday or big day thing?" Our overall message is that since you don't really know about it, and since there's nothing you can do about it, just let it happen however it happens in its own cycle. The perspective is very lighthearted. I like it so well, I'm sharing it here. The blog has one-sentence literal interpretations of four Rider Waite Tarot cards. Here are the cards' meanings and illustrations from which the meanings arise:

***Positive Image—Its Repercussions in the Real World

"I'm not happy," she said. "I'm not prosperous. And all my friends are." She was in distress, was very upset. She presented no specific problem, just a very black mood. Hmmm. I knew I had talked to her before. I could not remember anything specific from the one short session she had had with me. She asked no question, so I asked her 'Why do you think your friends are all so happy? Why do you think they are all doing so well financially?'

***Writing Poetry Begins with Free Association

The mystique. Everyone wants to be A Poet. Don't we? Poets can flaunt their self-discovery...and their moods. Poets take their brains and their hearts out and play with them...in public...and no one can say anything about it because they're poets. Just as the second million is much easier to make, the second hundred poems go down smoother. So... the first hundred don't count. You are encouraged to mess up. The juxtaposition of unrelated concepts is featured in poesy just as the juxtaposition of unrelated ideas is featured in free association in the psychologist's office.

***Echinacea for Birds and Poultry

From desperation, creative solutions often arise. When all else fails, reach for that inspired thought. The more often you reach, the more accurate your reach is. Such was the occasion when Emily discovered some idiot had put duck pullet eggs into her incubator "So my son can see birth." It was too late to just take them out: The chicks were about to hatch, they were talking through their shells! For some good reason of their own, ducks do not set on pullet eggs. 36 infected bloody eggs were hatching, ducklings who had hours or days to live.r

***The Talk: The Tennessee Expert

The lanky blond man bends to come in the door of the deposition room. I am there with my Stenograph set up ready to go. It's always best when an expert witness is the first to arrive: You can chitchat with him, put him at ease, find out what he is an expert in and how he talks, because you are responsible to write it down sensibly. I ask for his curriculum vitae (a resume of sorts). Here is a list single-spaced in small print of a page and a half of death-defying stunts: Evel Knievel he was--stuntman, fire jumper, demolition . . . and him barely thirty years old.

***Exactly How to Find Your Meanings for Tarot, and Your Meaning for Life

Here’s how - without any instructions - you find your meanings of any deck of Tarot cards if it pictures scenes of social situations. *Make a list of questions you know the answers to. The question should be something you are sure of because your answer is the unknown in the equation. *Think of that subject as you choose three or four of your Tarot cards. The fourth card can be on a second tier over the middle of the other three.

*Reading Tarot for yourself is one skill. The first phase, of course, is simply discovering cards' meanings. There are a number of ways to do this. Learning is between yourself and the deck, and is at your own leisure. You don't have to be correct. This is a fun activity, and you can do it with friends too. *Reading Tarot for friends and people you know is another skill.

***Self-Discovery Through Teaching Yourself Tarot Mastery

There are as many ways to read Tarot as there are people who do. Tarot does not have to be a parlor game, does not have to be the one-card-at-a-time sophomoric routine, does not have to be New Age fluff. Mastering tarot by introducing it to yourself will take time and effort but has the same advantage that teaching yourself how to cook has: The recipes are uniquely yours.

***Tarot Supports the Spiritual Path and Personal Growth

It is an act of will – a decision, that's all – that starts a person on the mystic path of being one with the Almighty. After that initiation, it is events of the person's life, and the “voice in your gut” that are the training, the lessons. Seeing a pattern in the events of your life is seeing your path. The focus of your path is what you do, not what you believe: God wants you to think or believe in whatever motivates you ahead in your growth. (It's not the dogma, it's the doing.) Ignored lessons recur in ever harsher more obvious forms!

***Tarot as Mental Exercise, as a Game Like Blackjack

Tarot is an exercise in creative thought. Quite apart from any messages or any use of messages it can produce, the act of simply figuring out language that arises from combinations of cards stretches one's mind: It is mental exercise like bridge or blackjack is. There are 78 cards, and of course each card has many meanings by itself, and each combination of cards (3,003 possible two-card combinations exist) therefore has even more possible interpretations. This can be a fun game.

***Ginger Honey & Grapefruit Seed Extract Sore Throat and Cough Remedy

Ginger and Honey have a synergistic action together. Search 'nutritional value of ginger and honey'. And grapefruit seed extract (sold as GSE everywhere, also called Citricidal) kills virus, yeast, mold, fungus, aerobic AND anaerobic bacteria, and parasites. Read up on it, it is a lifesaver generally. Anyway, your throat is killing you and you need to talk. The ginger and honey form a paste that clings better than a lozenge does, and the grapefruit seed extract boosts the germ killing. So here is the recipe: So simple. Get a jar lid or similarly shaped container.

***Open Face Vegetarian Chili Orgy

OPEN FACE VEGETARIAN CHILI ORGY Oil warms in a large fry pan, getting acquainted with half a head of jumbo garlic that left the food processor finely honed. A bunch of green onions (white and green, whole body) are getting chopped while the other ingredients get together in that pan, and the onions soon join in the warm oil simmer. So do some jalapeno slices from a bottle, if you like those guys. When the onions are a darker shade of green, it is time to call the chili in from the can: Nally's vegetarian or Nally's jalapeno!

***Diet You Can't Cheat On!

Spend two weeks deep in thought about what your favorite foods are. All your favorite foods. Including junk foods, alcohol . . . think, think, because we don't eat our favorite foods just like we don't live the life we would prefer. Example: You love canned pineapple, but classify it as a dessert, and you seldom eat desserts. So pineapple isn't on your grocery list. While you are thinking, eat up what is in the house and buy favorite foods, putting the ones you don't have to cook AT EYE LEVEL.

***Tarot, Mass Consciousness Entity, Reports Data It Focuses Upon; How Tarot Predicts

Tarot, Mass Consciousness Entity, Reports Data it Focuses Upon; How Tarot Predicts Tarot itself reflects what a person is actually thinking at the time that person is handling the Tarot deck. There is no doubt of this: At least one scientist has demonstrated this fact, and you can too. Tarot has become, through human tradition, through years of use, and probably through intelligent design, an entity in mass consciousness that reports data it focuses upon.

***Changing Your Ways, Keeping that Resolution You Made

Changing Your Ways, Keeping that Resolution You Made to Change It is one thing to decide to change something about yourself, and quite another to do it. There is a concept that holds me back: that I relate to the current "I" that has to change. You, too? As if a parent needed to be defied here. Reflexively we do what our usual routines are. Pulling out of that gives me the same feeling of being pulled back that I get when I walk out of the ocean and part with the warm supportive water.

***Zucchini-from-Hell, a Heavenly Recipe for Them

Where I live, in the dead of night people whose gardens have produced many of those monster zucchini will sneak onto the doorsteps of their neighbors and leave them. Here is a recipe to make easy and fantastic use of one or more of the monsters. Got a steamer? If not put a colander or large strainer that fits a pot into it in such a way the handles of the colander/strainer keep it from falling in. Now a lid will fit loosely because of the insert. Now you have a steamer!

***Tarot Verbatim, A Short Cut to Your Spiritual Growth

You sense it. It's a program running in the background that you are about as conscious of as you are of your refrigerator running or your own breathing. But when you least expect it, spiritual reality intrudes and grabs the spotlight like a car accident intrudes upon a normal afte oon, often bequeathing you a new perspective. Or sometimes there is a quiet moment imbued with an ill-defined super-reality that you long to revisit. Maybe a deja-vu; maybe a breakthrough; or is it just one of those daydreams in which the colors of the scene around you seem altered?

***Bacon Flavored Red Meat Treat You Don't Have to be a Man to Eat (Recipes for You, You Don't Cook!)

Peel about half a head of garlic and leave it in tiny pieces in your food chopper. If you don't have a food chopper, get one – and for now just smash the garlic in a baggie with a hammer. This will motivate you to get a food chopper. I know this!
